SCP-144-J "David's Shawarma"

SCP-144-J "Shawarma"
Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-144 should be contained on an oak wood round table with ample size to fit it in. It doesn't require any special container.

Description:

SCP-144 appears as a dish of Shawarma. When brought in the presence of a person it deems hungry or sick, it seems to fill itself up with warm, steaming Shawarma. The food seems to carry some anomalous properties, including but are not limited to, being strangely filling. Subjects who are said to have eaten the Shawarma report euphoric sensations and a warm feeling in their stomach, with no notable side effects after a week of observation (see SCP-144-A). However, it is not without it's downsides. Too much exposure to the Shawarma expresses itself in subjects in the form of vomiting, spitting or, in extreme cases, the breaking of a subject's back. Further tests are required to deem 144 as a fully beneficial SCP.

Interview Log: SCP-144-A

Interviewed: D-Class Subject named "David Dimapilis"

Interviewer: Doctor Wilson Andrei Ngai

Foreword: The D-Class has been reported hungry and has been given the Shawarma. The Foundation looks to gather information about how the subject feels after ingesting the food.

<Begin Log 01/08/19>

Dr. Ngai: So, Dimapilis, how do you feel after consuming this food?

Subject: Oh, I feel good. I feel hot, I…I feel everything.

Note: The subject says this in a joking manner.

Subject: The food is weirdly filling for Shawarma. I don't normally feel this full after eating Shawarma.

Dr. Ngai: Do you feel any strange side effects taking hold of you?

Subject: No, none so far.

Dr. Ngai: Okay, thank you for your participation in this test.

Addendum: SCP-144

The Shawarma was given to another SCP, SCP-428 (see document on SCP-428). SCP-428 exhibited a rather adverse reaction to the food. It practically inhaled the Shawarma that 144 gave him too much for his system to handle. 428 immediately reported intense back pain and vomited out much of the contents it ingested. Caution MUST be exhibited when prescribed this SCP.
