Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 3mx3mx3m air-tight concrete room. The interior walls and floor of the cell must be entirely lined in light reflecting material, and the ceiling must be completely covered by a large, high-intensity light. This light is to be on at all times, and must have its own backup generator, should the power fail. The entrance to the cell is to be set up as an airlock featuring two solid steel crank activated doors. These doors are not to be electrically sealed as to avoid them opening automatically upon the instance of a power outtage. If personell is entering SCP-XXXX's containment chamber for any reason, the first door must be sealed completely before the second door is unsealed and opened.
Once per week a maintenance crew must thouroughly inspect SCP-XXXX's containment chamber for any holes. Absolutely no holes must be present in the containment chamber. If a hole is spotted outside of the scheduled maintanence, a maintenance crew must immediately be called and the exterior high-intensity lights must be activated until the holes are sealed.
The hallways leading to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber are to have two sets of lights: standard and high-intensity. Standard lights are to be on at any standard operating times. In the event of a containment breach, even if it does not involve SCP-XXXX directly, the high-intensity lights are to be turned on. These lights are to have their own backup generator so that they may be turned on in the event of a power outtage.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sentient shadow that does not fully dissipate when under light or darkness. It has shown extreme hostility towards humans specifically. The creature has been seen to grow stronger in darkness, while oppositely growing weaker if under intense amounts of light.
