Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5226 is to be kept in a 8m x 8m living quarters. This room is furnished with basic amenities and video games as per SCP-5226's request. SCP-5226 is allowed to roam the premises and interact with other docile SCPs (its favorites being: SCP-166, 134, 999, 073 and 239) as a reward for good behavior. One Security personnel is to monitor SCP-5226 at all times while in its room and is to be monitored by CCTV cameras throughout the facility while roaming. Subject is also to be escorted by 1 D-Class personnel of SCP-5226's choosing at all times to guide it around the facility. It is also allowed to interact with usually hostile SCP’s given its anomaly will protect him from the SCPs effect. (SCP-336, 166, 096 ect) SCP-5226 will not interact with SCPs detrimental to its existence. SCP-5226 has level 5 clearance but still needs approval from O5 Council or its head researcher (currently Dr. Harp) to interact with hostile SCPs such as SCP-096 in case of possible containment breach.
Description: SCP-5226 appears to be a blind 17-year-old male with long hair, (usually kept in a ponytail) and has a gold colored ring around its neck. It has a generally pleasant personality spending most of its time researching and conversing with other SCP's. It can easily be upset, becoming agitated and somewhat hostile when denied access to requested items or activities it deems reasonable to request. Subject was found after recovering from a coma due to a lack of senses at a hospital in Yorkshire, Britain at the age of 9.
While SCP-5226’s anomaly isn't deadly, It can easily be enraged in which it will put its target into a coma induced by a lack of senses and in extreme cases kill its target. (see incident 1k-5226.) Any personnel who enrages SCP-5226 are to be removed immediately from its containment area and SCP-5226 is to be locked inside its cell for 1 hour minimum or until it once again becomes docile.
Subject lacks all senses but is fully conscious and aware of its surroundings. SCP-5226 has proven to have several abilities all relating to its lack of senses. It’s nervous system does not function meaning that SCP-5226 is unable to feel anything around it, but subject has shown advanced use of its motor skills. SCP-5226 has also shown to have an astounding memory bordering that of a photographic memory (whether this is related to its anomaly or not is unknown). It is capable of using the senses of anyone that passes through it's would be line of sight even if its not his own.(This includes seeing through the target's eyes and hearing what they hear ect.). Subject can only use its ability on one person at a time. SCP-5226 also has the ability to render the senses of a target inane. Subject's abilities last for as long as it wishes and seem to have a limitless range within the time period. SCP-5226 also has the ability to render these senses inane. People affected by SCP-5226’s abilities are to be classed as SCP-5226-A until it switches targets. SCP-5226’s origins are unknown to both itself and its parents. Though Subject has reported hearing a female voice saying: “You shall be blessed for your curse and your curse will be your key to a new world” just before receiving its anomaly. The ring around SCP-5226’s neck (known as SCP-5226-1) is made of an unknown material that seems to resemble a form of gold. All attempts to try and remove SCP-5226-1 from subject’s neck via: angle grinder, oxy acetylene torch and hack saw have failed, not even marking the ring. SCP-5226-1 has a small engraving of unidentified language going around its circumference. When SCP-5226 is faced with a life ending event the engraving on SCP-5226-1 will glow hot red and a bubble of yellow energy will engulf Subject. This anomaly only activates if the attack will kill SCP-5226. This anomaly can also be triggered by none immediate death threats such as poison blocking the threat before it is poisoned. Any-non life threatening damage will not cause the ring to activate, for example a shot to the leg or a paper cut will not cause the ring to activate. SCP-5226 has stated that the ring has been around its neck since it gained its anomaly. Reports from the nurses at the hospital state that the ring was found around SCP-5226’s neck around the same time it showed consciousness.
Incident: 1k-5226.
Upon first extraction attempt of SCP-5226. Subject became extremely hostile and used its abilities to paralyze and murder all members of the extraction team t3-54k (Code-name: Huntsmen) using a butcher's knife. On the second extraction attempt Subject came willingly apologizing profusely for its previous actions.
Addendum: Notes: SCP-5226 refers to the female voice as “mother” stating that she gave him true life (referring to his anomaly). There are no visible signs of SCP-5226’s anomalies being shown by SCP-5226-A. Subject appeared to enjoy slaughtering the original extraction team (SCP-5226 is to undergo psychiatric evaluation once a month).
