Description:
Observations and experiments report that The Forgotten Sound comes from a host music box that does not stop playing. In any case, no personnel should come into contact with the host. If heard it psychologically starts to impair the victim. The first symptom is a small ringing in the in followed by rare case of early onset amnesia. It starts to happen 10-15 minutes after coming in contact with the sound. The second symptom is increased anxiety, paranoia, and minor hallucinations. This will usually drive them to try and run and hide. They will constantly forget where and why they are running. Try to secure them, the next symptom is increased major hallucinations and aggression. If you do not secure them, they will start to attack. If they start to attack then there is no humane way to kill them. The only cure is death. If you can not kill them in time, in 5 minutes their body will shut down and they will die on their own.
Containment Policy
Keep it stored in an airtight, soundproof, freezing room. The cold temperature will slow the music box but won't completely stop it. The slower the sound is, the slower and the weaker the effects are.
Prevention
In whatever case one needs to access The Music Box you will need noise cancelling ear muffs it will prevent you from listening to The Forgotten Sound, and industrial gloves. The wood is slightly acidic. Nothing will happen if skin comes into contact with the box, it will just prevent irritation.

Details He walked in and was left in there for a few minutes until 7:32. We walked him back to the testing room and left him in there with one of our scientists who would interview him. Everything was fine until 7:47. Started to forget his name. Forgot where he was. Completely forgot everything and was confused about a "looping song" in his head. Started crying and shaking violently around 7:43. Would run away from our scientist. Wouldn't accept food. Accused us of trying to kill him. He isn't completely wrong. It is now 8:56. He attacked the scientist and ate his eyes. (The scientist later gave us the information we needed.) He took the key and escaped. We had to track him down and he was fighting. He killed a scientist by lacerating their throat. We had to shoot him.

Details Experiment two. We tied up our lab rat and had transported her to the room. Left her in there for a minute and then retrieved her and took her back to one of our testing rooms. The scientist had earmuffs in but still heard parts of this anomaly. He reported to us hearing a looping song. We didn't understand what to do so we gave him cyanide pills. We mourn the loss of him. Kendra started screaming when the anxiety and paranoia kicked in. She is talking to people yet there are no other people in the testing room with her. Might she be experiencing hallucinations? It is currently 9:00 pm and she started chewing at the binding. She broke free last minute and started ripping herself apart. She tore out her hair and ripped our her eyes and tongue. Anything you can imagine she did, and she eventually died of blood loss. This box is obviously dangerous to have. I'm locking it away until I die.

Details Dr. Rankin finally died and we promised him we wouldn't use the box until he died. We have our third experiment now. Tony Hurtz is entering the room and we tie him up from head to toe. There is no way he can escape that. Previously he had listened to the box so the effects should start to take place soon. I see the amnesia is starting to take place. The questions hes starting to ask, and his fear. I can tell that he is upset that he is tied up and that he is upset he doesn't know what's going on. Anxiety starts to take in. He starts to cry and shake. He is vibrating. It is an odd sight to witness. He is now screaming and he just urinated himself. He starting to get aggressive by the noises he is making. He tries to break free. We leave him alone for another 5 minutes and he starts bleeding from his eyes and he just dies. I'm making sure this box does not ever get used again.
