SCP 001 has just been activated, As know as "When day breaks". I'm a scientist that survived the containment breach and SCP 001 activation, and my name is Jay. Here's some stuff I wrote down in my book. If you got this, it means SCP 001 has somehow deactivated, or i'm dead. Day 1 activation: I have stayed in zone 3 for a while now. I have missed my family and friends, I know I won't make it without a suit. I'm planning to go to zone 4 tomorrow for resources. I have been looking for a level 5 card for while to so I can explore this place, but this place is big as hell. I will get lost a lot…..Day 2 The noise: I have woken up in a D-class cell. The bed wasn't comfy, but it was all I had. I soon walked back to zone 3, while walking I found a dead guard, seems like SCP 049 has tried "curing" them. That body wasn't there before, so SCP 049 might be around, and I hear there voice. I started panicking because I have read there files, and know what they do, I didn't want to die at such a age. I tried to not make much noise as possible. I walked into a storage room, hid behind a table and prayed. SCP 049 walked right by me, I relived a quick sigh of relief..I looked both ways, clear. I walked out, heart beating fast. I started rethinking of going to zone 4, it was to dangerous. I thought of my kids and my wife, I just remembered they had soccer practice, I almost cried. I couldn't lose hope, I walked back into the storage room to find anything, I have found this map thingy. I have never saw it before, it showed where I was. The screen was like the old greeny type, I walked around the zone and found a haz-mat suit. I thought people already took all of them. I put one on. I was safe, I could walk out. But after putting that on I became tired. I got to the class-D cells, took off my suit and slept. Day 3 The great escape: I woke up, it started to look like a base of some sort. The next thing I needed was a gun, I went to the dead guards body and took the gun. I heard a voice when I picked it up. Could it be a person or a SCP? I had a gun anyways, I might as well take a chance. I walked to the voice, and it was a scientist, another survivor I cheered! They became surprised. I took them to the cells, and asked them some questions. "So, what's your name?" He answered with Max, "Nice name Max, i'm Jay.". I also asked how he survived, he replied with "Its hard to explain how I avoided it" I replied to that by saying "Ah, I understand." After that we have gotten to know each other a little. After talking, I went to get him a suit. I got him one. And we can escape. Day 4 The actual escape: We woke up to screaming, I become very paranoid and worried. But the screaming stopped all of a sudden? I was thinking "Could it be 096?" "That might be 096???". But Max stayed calm, I didn't understand how..I asked him "Should we find out what the was?" Max replied "I don't think so." "Just stay quiet" Max added on. But those were SCP 096 screams, and crying. I almost cried to. I just never wanted to die in this place. But we did open the cell door and look down and looked both ways, 096 was on the other side, so we can escape. We grabed our gear and ran. Never looked behind us, we made to the exits with out suits on. We made it..We escaped, "Just what now" I asked? He answered with silence. I went to my house with my family. No sign, max was also with me. I went with him and his family were not there either. it was just us to, we became friends and now were living in the house as writing this. End
