Special containment procedures-
SCP-20001 is to be contained within a 5000^3 gallon tank filled with seawater. The water in SCP-20001n's containment chamber is to be kept at a temperature of 45 degrees Fahrenheit at all times, lest the contained micro-ecosystem suffer severe disruption. All light sources in SCP-20001's containment chamber are kept very dim, so as not to disrupt it. No cameras, with the exception of security cameras, are allowed within SCP-20001's containment chamber.** SCP-20001 is contained at site[REDACTED] SCP-20001 is to be fed an assortment of hard-shelled crustaceans and various fishes every 72 hours

Description.
SCP-20001 is a large, fish-like creature with short, muscular arms ending in crude claw-like structures that bear sharpened ends. this SCP possesses two lower jaws and its head is highly muscular. interestingly, SCP-20001 lacks caudal vertebrae, instead, relying on it's two large, leglike front fins for propulsion. SCP-20001 possesses very few cervical and thoracic vertebrae, allowing it to rapidly swim through the water with little effort, though it prefers to remain stationary to conserve energy. SCP-20001 is 3 meters in length, although 1/3 of its length is head. SCP-20001 is brown with black, grey, and tan markings along it's back.

SCP-20001 was first discovered by Foundation personnel after it was dragged up from the deep ocean by a deep-sea fisherman fishing around 4 miles off the coast of [REDACTED] in South Wales.
