Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be guarded by armed security patrols at all times. Any member of staff not conducting experiments approved by the site director are to be given amnestics and transferred to prevent cases like Dr. ██████████. No excursions into SCP-XXXX are to be allowed unless approved by the site director. The site director herself must not enter SCP-XXXX-1's secure chamber under any means, an attempt to do so will be treated with amnestics to remove the chance of any anomalous effects from her memory. She will then be debriefed and return to her duties. Any authorised excursions into SCP-XXXX are to be done, or escorted by MTF-Psi-15
Description: SCP-XXXX has been given 3 separate parts (SCP-XXXX-1,2,3), because of the events of Exploration Epsilon. Each part can be seen as it's own distinct entity, but due to recovered texts, it is likely they all share the same sentience. SCP-XXXX appears to have some form of mind altering anomalous affect, however the only reported case of this so far is Dr. ██████████.
SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 is a large humanoid eye and eyelids measuring 5 meters long and 2 meters wide at it's widest point. The eye was discovered in a concealed chamber 50 meters below the crypt of All Saints Church, Ecclesall in the south west of Sheffield, England. The eye is set into the floor of the chamber with the eyelids being made of the same stonework as the floor, limestone slabs. The eye itself appears organic, with the pupil responding as expected to light intensity. Contradictory to this the eye acts like a liquid, allowing other matter to pass through.
SCP-XXXX-2: Any matter that enters SCP-XXXX-1 is transported into SCP-XXXX-2, a non-Euclidean extra-dimensional space. This space has a non-linear time flow where all events to have, are, or will happen occur in the same instance. This is in-perceivable to all recording devices, requiring them to be within the field created by a C.E.S.A generator to function. Six exploration based excursions into SCP-XXXX-2 have been conducted, two using drones, three using D-Class, and one using the specifically formed MTF-Psi-15, "Chronokeepers". Visibility is limited inside SCP-XXXX-2 as the "air" resembles a red miasma, which acts like no known state of matter. The space itself consists of a series of interconnected corridors, rooms and walkways, all difficult to navigate and comprehend due to their non-Euclidean nature. Any material originating from inside SCP-XXXX-2 dissipates causing an electrical discharge if it's removed from the space.
SCP-XXXX-3: SCP-XXXX-3 is the only sentient entity discovered within SCP-XXXX-2 so far. SCP-XXXX-3 is a humanoid made of approximately 1000 shards of black stone and standing 2 meters in height. The entity posses no features besides a pair of dull glowing blue spheres for eyes, each about 2 centimetres in diameter. The arms of SCP-XXXX-3 are wrapped in chains, formed from a material resembling steel, with the chains attached to each arm extending roughly 10 meters away from the creature before extending out of sight. The entity is capable of communicating but so far it's language is discordant, erratic and nonsensical. SCP-XXXX-3 has also shown an ability to warp SCP-XXXX-2 forming passageways which allow it to navigate the space much quicker than MTF-Psi-15.

Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be left in the secure chamber of site-117, access to the site via All Saints Church, Ecclesall is to be restricted to staff with a level 4 or higher security clearance, all other staff are to enter through the specially constructed tunnel system as to keep civilian attention to a minimum.

Documentation of Exploration Logs:
The following are the logs of all excursions into SCP-XXXX-2, after the events of Dr. ██████████'s behaviour.
It's a window. An open window. It wants me to
Exploration XXXX Alpha Report:
Time/Date: 10:00 2/10/2018
Report: An unmanned drone, was sent into SCP-XXXX. Immideatly after entering the entity we lost connection to the drone. We are preparing a wired connection drone for Exploration XXXX Beta.
Exploration XXXX Beta Report:
Time/Date: 11:00 4/10/2018
Report: An unmanned drone was sent into the entity equipped with a wired connection and a number of surveying gear, including two rats to test for potentially dangerous atmospheric conditions.
While inside SCP-XXXX all data broadcast back to site-117 via the wired connection was corrupted. None of our computer systems have been able to restore the data. Most of our software acts as though the data is not corrupted and that it is in the same state it was recorded in, however no member of staff has of yet been able to decipher the readings we recovered.
We proceeded to pull the unmanned drone out of SCP-XXXX using the wired connection as a tow. Upon returning, both rats were dead from oxygen deprivation. Suggest using D-Class equipped with oxygen gear for Exploration XXXX Gamma.
Exploration XXXX Gamma-1 Report:
Time/Date: 14:00 9/10/2018
Report: Two D-Class personnel were sent into the entity equipped with hazmat suits, a recording camera, and torches. After eight minutes inside SCP-XXXX both broke the surface and were unharmed. The recording on the camera however shoes the same "corruption" as all other recovered digital data.
The D-Class the reported on their excursion. Both stated that after entering the entity they appeared to fall through a series of flashing lights, after which they recall the feeling of solid ground beneath their feet. Strangely once actually inside this space, they reported that their memories are "jumbled". This discordant recollection of events has caused most members of staff working on SCP-XXXX that the "corruption" is not due to an affect the entity has on digital data. They have begun theorising that the laws of physics within this space are drastically different to our own. I am inclined to agree with them. We have decided to send the D-Class in once again, this time with a prototype space-time mapping device.
It will be interesting to see what information is recovered.
Exploration XXXX Gamma-2 Report:
Time/Date: 13:00 21/10/2018
Report: As with Exploration XXXX Gamma-1 two D-Class were sent into SCP-XXXX. This time however they entered the anomaly with a device able to record a single moment of space-time. Both D-Class personnel returned after six minutes with their report being identical to the previous D-Class sent in.
As the prototype device developed by Dr. Brown's team measures the space-time of an area for one zeptosecond the recovered data should have been accurate according to his theories. This was disputed by a few members of staff after seeing the data, but most felt the data agreed with what they had theorised. The data showed space-time not as a warped plane, but as a single point. Due to the linear recording of the human mind, the entity's irregular physics have caused it to be imperceptible.
Dr. Brown has stated he will begin work on a device capable of generating a field of space-time according to the physics of our reality. This may allow full scale exploration of SCP-XXXX. I will contact site-director Armitage about requesting the formation of an exploration based MTF to be trained with Dr. Browns technology.
Exploration XXXX Delta Report:
Time/Date: 14:00 3/1/2019
Report: A D-Class was sent into the entity to test Dr. Browns newly developed C.E.S.A (Chronological Event Stabilisation Area) generator. The D-Class returned after 2 minutes unharmed. He then proceeded to report about his excursion into the space:
I starting sinking, there were flashing lights all around me. Then I touched the ground, it was stone I think and the air was this red fog. I was on a bridge, but there was no ground or water or anything around me, just the red mist. Then a flash off lightning shot through the fog I think, but it was going sideways, or upwards, I couldn't really tell. When I turned around the fog was watery. I touched it, and found myself swimming back through the lights.
It looks like Dr. Browns C.E.S.A generator works, however it only produces a field of one meter radius making it somewhat restrictive. He says he's working out how to increase the range. He better work quick, the O5 Council has authorised our MTF proposal. They'll need functioning gear after all.
Exploration XXXX Epsilon Report:
Time/Date: 12:00 29/2/2019
Report: MTF-Psi-15, "Chronokeepers", has been trained to use Dr. Browns new C.E.S.A generators. The most recent version of which have been designed to provide a boosted range as long as they are within operating range of one another. As long as each member of Psi-15 remain within six meters of one another (which is what they have been trained to do), each individuals personal C.E.S.A generator will produce a six meter radius field.
MTF-Psi-15 was sent into SCP-XXXX the following is a log of events by Operative Carter:
MTF-Psi-15, "Chronokeepers", Excursion Report:
Exploration XXXX Epsilon
Report By Operative Carter
<Begin Entry>
One by one we entered the entity as instructed. Each of us sank through a series of flashing lights as the D-Class had previously reported. I touched down first, and proceeded to wait for the rest of my team. Once we were all through we checked to make sure our gear was synchronised and functioning, any technical fault could have caused a disaster.
Me and my team proceeded to take in our surroundings. We were stood on a stone path resembling a bridge of some form. It was floating in a void, and there was no single light source, no sun or moon. The space was lit from all directions, but even with this visibility was limited as the "air" was formed from a red miasma of sorts, like a heavy gas that got denser the quicker something moved through it. Like sand, but less material. This strange state of matter limited our visibility to roughly 11 meters, we'd been trained to judge distance expertly due to the nature of our gear.
We began moving through the space with the first terrain change being when the bridge-like construction of the floor seemed to rotate into a corridor. It was clear this space had non-euclidean geometry, but it didn't feel organic, more like a maze than a natural flow. Three of us had tethers which fed back to site-117, these fortunately were synchronised to our C.E.S.A generators allowing us to navigate freely without loosing the exit.
After half an hour of moving through corridors and over walkway like constructions we discovered a room measuring 10 meters by 10 meters approximately and was vaguely cuboid when perceived. The room had 5 or 6 corridors extending from it, we began moving down the first one on the left, all though it felt like walking in a straight line we returned to the previous room out of the same corridor we entered. The feeling of being watched was not uncommon, 4 other members of the team reported the space was "Uncomfortable, confusing and unsettling" which I will agree with wholeheartedly. The space has a presence of sorts, you may be alone, but it will never feel like that, and yet it does, it's almost sad.
We navigated the space for approximately 2 hours without anything occurring, the void does seem to occasionally light up with sparks of lighting circling in to the outside of your view. The terrain was regular in it's unique irregular way, always the same materials and designs but always distantly incomprehensible and nauseating. However eventually my team and I discovered a chamber larger than others we'd previously encountered. It was circular-like, probably about 20 meters in radius and 10 to 15 meters tall. In the centre of the room is the only entity we have so far encountered, and may be the only entity inside that place, alone.
It originally appeared to be a static, unstable, shifting mass of black. However once we moved into range with the C.E.S.A generators it synchronised and took form. It stood 2 meters tall, was made of a thousand or more shards or black stone. It hard two "eyes" which took the form of empty, dull blue spheres which faintly glowed. The entity was suspended in the air by what appeared to be iron chains grafted around it's arms. The entity swung slightly by the chains which extended 10 meters off into the miasma and out of sight. It initially showed no sign of life so we approached closer. After moving within 3 meters of the entity it slowly raised it's head and looked through us. It began to say, "It's so cold. Help. I'm lonely." however this was seemingly in our heads as it had no mouth to speak from. It began repeating "The dark. The cold. The end." becoming increasingly agitated so I ordered my team to move away from the entity in an attempt to exclude it from the range of the C.E.S.A generators.
The creature remained temporally synchronised even after leaving the area which I thought was impossible. The room then began to shrink around us, at this moment I decided to order the team to return the entrance in an attempt to evacuate. Navigating our way back was very easy due to the tethers and we were making good time, moving much quicker and not being slowed by the countless dead ends and straight yet spiralling corridors. Within 40 minutes we were nearly back to the entrance when a corridor seemingly folded out of thin air behind us and the entity stepped out of it, following us, it's chains trailing behind it. It seemed to be acting as a C.E.S.A generator itself now with the space around it stabilising as it moved.
Harrington proceeded to pull out his pistol and shot the entity twice in the leg. It didn't appeared injured and continued to slowly move towards us, it's hand outstretched towards us. "help, it's dark" was being repeated in my mind, however the other members of my team did not experience this specific communication. One by one my team exited through the gateway returning to site 117 as they did. I was the last to leave, and the only one to witness this, but as I was about to step through the gateway, I looked back to see the entity stationary, its head hung low and a puddle of a strange liquid slowly forming around the entities feet. The liquid was dark, maybe a dark red or brown, I thought the entity may be injured by Harrington's shots. It wasn't. This liquid flowed like water, not blood.
I didn't hesitate. It was time to leave and so I did. I stepped through and found myself pulling my body up and out of SCP-XXXX in site 117 and that was that. I hope that thing was okay.
<End Entry>
Further excursions into SCP-XXXX-2 have not yet occurred but are planned for the purpose of further experimentation.
