Special Containment Procedures: A six (6) meter razor wire topped chain-link fence is to be assembled 10 meters away from SCP-XXXX in all directions. Outfitted security are to patrol the exterior of the site to limit fauna from trespassing. Unauthorized personnel are prohibited from communicating with SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a grain silo 10 meters in length and 15 meters in diameter with metallic Homo Sapien lips producing a melancholic voice as loud as 90 decibels capable of speaking only English. SCP-XXXX was constructed on a plantation located at █████, Kansas. The plantation is 5.2 square kilometers and consists of one (1) standing structure and three (3) burned-down homesteads. As of July 19, 20██ the silo is the only anomalous object located on the site. SCP-XXXX has an interior replete with saliva¹ and mucus. Soil analysis display a significant amount of the excretions as far as 10 meters from the silo. When in contact with the excretions, subjects develop symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder.

The subject experiences a severe escalation of the disorder if it is previously present before testing. Fauna of the region have displayed suicidal tendencies once exposed to the excretions. SCP-XXXX, once questioned, exhibits many symptoms of Major Depressive Disorder. The stenographer, ███████ Butler, recorded the following conversation between SCP-XXXX and Dr. ████ Gormley.

SCP-XXXX: Owners of the land couldn't tolerate me anymore. I mean who would? So they lit themselves on fire along with all their crops. I wish I was made of wood so I could've perished too.

Dr. Gormley: How long have you been here?

SCP-XXXX: Every second I've been here is pain. I don't know. I don't care. Stop talking to me, yeah? I want to be alone.

Dr. Gormley: Sir… Or silo, I just have a few more questions.

Dr. Gormley: What are you doing with your mouth?
