Special Containment Procedures: A sample of SCP-5161’s DNA shall be contained in a small carbon fiber based box under 5 meters of distilled water due to the strong radiation it repels, and the walls should consist of 1 meter thick lead. The pool of water is to be observed by Dr. ██████ and is only to be entered by Class D personnel. The pool that the box is contained in should not be entered by less than 2 People at the same time, the subjects will have a sharp object to kill one another in case SCP-5161 would accidentally interact with them.

Description: SCP-5161 is an unknown force that were first observed in the city Chernobyl. SCP-5161 is able to take control of any living organism that is in contact with it, though the possessed body/organism will start to decay after approximately 30 minutes, the cycle will then repeat if another organism is to come in contact with SCP-5161's remains. It is yet to be observed what it is fully capable of doing, but if in the wrong hands, SCP-5161 could cause mass extinction of humanity.
Tests have shown that staying inside a two meter radius of SCP-5161 for approximately 1 hour, will cause burns on the skin because of exposure to strong radiation.
