Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX's remains are to be stored in a standard Safe-class containment unit.

Former Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, he was not to be detained by Agents to avoid political and public unrest. SCP-XXXX was free to travel within the borders of Russia.

A team of three agents were assigned to monitor and report on SCP-XXXX's movements and daily activities. These Agents were on three month rotations, with one Agent changed each month. In order to properly follow SCP-XXXX, a forth Agent to assigned to join the palace guard to monitor his movements within the palace. The only time Agents should intervene is if there is a threat to SCP-XXXX or should SCP-XXXX become a threat to the public.

Two researchers were posted in a safe house located in St. Petersburg, Russia to review and log reports from Agents. The Researchers were on rotations month rotations. Researchers

Description: SCP-XXXX was Grigori Rasputin, a middle-aged, Russian man approximately 6' 4" tall and of an unknown weight.

SCP-XXXX was able to perform healing through pray, either verbally or mentally, on himself and other. It was determined that SCP-XXXX was able to effect the healing factor for those that he prayed for. The exact range and full abilities of the his powers was unable to be tested. This ability was referred to as "Miracles" by the general public.

After death, SCP-XXXX's remains were cremated and sealed within a 10" x 7"x 6" sealed, nondescript, pine box that weighs approximately 5 lbs.

Addendum 049.1: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered by agents operating in St. Petersburg, Russia in early 1907. News of a self titled mystic healer had befriend both the Tzar and his wife. Agents quickly arranged to view this mystic in person. Upon meeting SCP-XXXX, Agents noted that they felt a aura of calm and peace emanating from him. They watched as SCP-XXXX held a service for a crowd. Some of those in attendance had visible illnesses such as boils and infected an wounds. SCP-XXXX placed a hand on their head, bowed his own and muttered a few words. The visible aliments disappeared and others seemed to have more energy.

A few days later, one agent witnessed a SCP-XXXX heal the Tzar's son following an accident. The young prince had uncontrolled bleeding. As before, SCP-XXXX placed a hand on him and prayed. Due to the severity of the injury, it took longer to heal then those at the service.

It was at this time that Agents filed a request to contain SCP-XXXX. This request was denied by Foundation Command due to SCP-XXXX being a public figure. They did not was to cause both political and public unease as there was already whispers of war brewing. At this time SCP-XXXX was classified as Euclid class and the original Containment Protocol set in place.

Addendum 049.2: Escalation

Following a “Miracle” performed in 1912 for Alexei who developed a hemorrhage in his thigh and groin, SCP-XXXX had a surge in popularity. This lead an occult group to form and worship SCP-XXXX. The groups formation made it harder for agents to keep eyes on SCP-XXXX as he began to spend most of his time within the palace as a companion to the Tsarina Alexandra as Tsar Nicholas II was away during WWI. Agents once again requested to contain SCP-XXXX only to be denied again for the same reasons. Agents were now ordered to infiltrate the royal guard to continue observation of SCP-XXXX.

Addendum 049.3: Assassination Attempt
On 07/12/1914, while leaving his home in Pokrovskoye, Russia, a 33-year-old peasant woman named ███████ ███████ attacked SCP-XXXX. ███████ was able to stab him in the stomach. Though seriously injured, SCP-XXXX was given emergency surgery and recovered in time. ███████ was later released after being found to be insane and working alone. Reports note a change in SCP-XXXX’s personallity and behavior aournd this and an increase in his drinking.

Addendum 049.4: Death
On 12/30/1916, Agents tried to intercept SCP-XXXX as he made his way to the home of Felix Yusupov, but unable to do so. Two days later Agents and local police found the body of SCP-XXXX in the Malaya Nevka River. An autopsy was performed soon after. Cause of death was determined to be a gunshot to the head. Other injuries to the body included but not limited to two other gunshot wounds to the chest, a slash to his left side, and many other injuries, some caused post-mortem. No water was found within the lungs. No toxins were found in SCP-XXXX’s blood.
It is rumored that SCP-XXXX was first poisoned through the consumption of cakes laced with cyanide and poisoned wine. It was then that SCP-XXXX’s assailants shot him in the chest after showing no effect from the poison. The assailants then left the scene to make it seem as if SCP-XXXX returned home. Upon return to the scene, SCP-XXXX attack his assailants who shot him again. This resulted in the head injury. After confirming he had died, they dumped SCP-XXXX into the Malaya Nevka River. This account was later confirmed by Felix Yusupov in a novel he wrote.
SCP-XXXX was buried 01/02/1917 at a small church on the grounds of Tsarskoye Selo.

Addendum 049.5: Retrieval
SCP-XXXX was exhumed and cremated by Agents working with Russian soldiers shortly after the Tsar abdicated the throne in March 1917. This was in order to prevent his burial site from becoming a shrine for his followers.The remains were then brought to Foundation for study. Upon discovering that the ashes didn’t contain an anomalous behavior, SCP-XXXX was placed in long term storage.
