Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: A secure perimeter 1.5 km in diameter must be maintained around SCP-XXXX, no civilians or Foundation personnel are to be allowed within this perimeter without authorisation from the on-site Level 3 researcher. Researchers stationed at SCP-XXXX are to be rotated monthly and are to be provided with non-perishable foodstuffs only. Attempts at housing development in SCP-XXXX-1 are to be prevented by any means necessary, travel to SCP-XXXX-1 by civilians is to be discouraged.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an early 17th century prodigy house, located in the county of █████ in England. The building is approximately 80 m long and 40 m wide, and appears to have 3 stories, though no exploratory mission has yet confirmed this.
Any material in close proximity to SCP-XXXX appears to age at a faster rate, testing has shown that the effect increases with the inverse square of the distance to the object, and the field of effect appears to extend indefinitely in all directions from the centre of SCP-XXXX. Despite this property, SCP-XXXX itself is in a remarkably pristine condition, it is unknown wether this is an anomalous property of the building, or simply a consequence of durable construction.
Although objects appear to age at a faster rate, perception of time, be it human or mechanical, is unaffected by SCP-XXXX (see Document #XXXX-I).
SCP-XXXX-1 is the rural town of ███████ ██████, approximately 1.4 km away from SCP-XXXX. Official records of the town exist from 1086 AD, though archaeological digs imply the area has been inhabited since 4000 BC. Due to it's proximity to the anomaly, the locals are predominately elderly in appearance and have half the life expectancy of the average UK citizen.
