Special containment procedures: SCP - XXXX is to be housed in a 200x200ft level 5 security room in facility [REDACTED]. The room is to be guarded at all times and only those with level 5 security clearance or those instructed by said persons are allowed in or out of the room. Due to the nature of SCP - XXXX there will be a minimum of 250 D-Class, 250 administrative staff, 250 researchers and 1500 armed personnel at the ready at all times in the event that SCP - needs to be activated. SCP - XXXX's containment room will be stocked with enough food, water and various tools and supplies to last at least 3000 people a minimum of 6 months.
Description: SCP - XXXX is a 23ft wide by 36ft tall archway made of an unknown material. It is metallic black in color and gives off a subtle red light from an unknown source. SCP-XXXX appeared in wing [REDACTED] of the [REDACTED] facility. Upon its appearance it activated for the first time. Its inner arch filled with a smoke like fog that seemed to be confined to the boundaries of the archway itself. Upon its activation a humanoid stepped out from inside the fog and collapsed on the floor. The humanoid was extracted by armed hazmat team [REDACTED] and taken to the nearest medical bay.
Dr. [REDACTED] examined and conducted an autopsy on the humanoid. Subsequent autopsy showed that the humanoid was indeed a human disfigured beyond recognition. Blood test revealed the humanoid to be Dr. [REDACTED]. The body also carried a charred journal. The contents of said journal are summarized bellow. The journal appears to be from an alternate timeline and or universe similar to ours as its contents don't match up with information known to us in our own world. Dates seem to be mixed and information distorted in many ways. Most of the information has been lost its seems due to fire. The entries are as follows:

"Today the arch appeared in wing B of facility alpha 4. It seems to be made of Initium, an element that is very hard to produce with current technology. It vibrates the the touch. I must begin experiments right away…"
October 28th, 2023
"…we finally discovered how to use the arch. This break through will change everything. One simply has to stand inside the arch and imagine the world you wish to travel to, once open you and whoever else with you can travel to said world. Ive highlighted a few worlds in my report but this little portal could be used infinite times to discover infinite things. Just think of the applications of such a device. We could use it to work as liaisons with an innumerable amount of agencies in multiple universes. It stands to reason that somewhere in the multiverse there is a universe that didn't make the mistakes we did, a universe with more time, even a universe where all of our efforts are nothing more than stories…"

"It really has begun… a massive breach across our entire facility. A being exited the arch today. Its skin red… menacing, hate in its eyes… it bore its way through the facility crippling security staff as it went shutting down communication…"

"Another being exited the arch… pale skin, feminine and with a sword. She did not harm a soul. In fact those she passed by felt better… for while it seemed like she may just save us. She then however returned to the portal and utter the words "lost". She then vanished. I fear if we don't come up with a plan soon this will be the end."

Send this book through until it reaches a world where the foundation is its strongest. Maybe if they can read what I have written they too can use this information to save their world and countless others… Look for the man with red skin, he is not your friend. The pale woman with sword, she is kind but her intentions torn. Her servant isn't far behind her, he will be one of us but unbridled. Collect all the SCPs that you can, every creature has value. Some may even save us from the ones that damn us to extinction. Find the world that won or the one that still has time, there they will…"
