Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be kept far from any content with any living being. It is to be kept isolated without any proper opening to view others. Admittance within the containment of SCP-XXXX is only allowed if the personnel is marked with a 3rd or 1st sanctum mark. Personnel entering the containment must have knowledge of the month SCP-XXXX is on before its day of penance.
SCP-XXXX was retrieved by the foundation on 14/07/1983 within the Bolarian manor in Newcastle, England on [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX was forcefully taken from a group of cultists within the abandoned manor, this was due to anomalous detections around the close area of the building, such as time augmentation and instances of the change in the formation of predicted weather outcomes. The 7 cultists were identified to be: Malory King, Thomas Wright, Bradley Harrison, Dylan Collins, Jemima Patterson, William Reeves, and Maddison Simons. These identified peoples had no prior record within any cult activity and within the length of 2 months before the incident, had been known to have jobs with no distinct correlation, such as accountants, train conductors, prostitutes, etc.
The manor had been decorated in occult and satanic symbols resembling that of a widow spider and red banners written in an unidentifiable dialect, very reminiscent of runic. SCP-XXXX was located on the 3rd floor with the 7 identified cultists performing a ritual around the object as it was set on a 60cm high wooden pedestal which was covered with a linen cloth red blanket. The cultists were interrupted by foundation military personnel who had to restrain the individuals involved in the ritual in order to successfully contain the anomaly at 9:46 PM BST.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a spider-shaped red object made out of a material similar to osseous tissue. This material was later named Ortus-X48 and later tests show a T-score of 0.9 proving the similarity between Ortus-X48 and osseous tissue. Currently (11/16/20) it is marked on its 6th month, out of the 10 months, of hibernation before the day of penance. On this day all personnel associated with the caretaking of SCP-XXXX are to send out an observation team with a 3rd sanctum mark and an animal sacrifice.
When obtained by the foundation, SCP-XXXX was marked by a symbol similar to the dialect written within the manor. Once removed through a simple Q-switched laser, SCP-XXXX began to freely move and latch unto foundation scientist Dr. Mortus Williams, who at the time was holding the object. It was then seen to crawl within the orifice of the Dr's face and within the span of 126 seconds, the live body of Dr. Mortus Williams began to suffer from epilepsy and soon began to turn itself inside out. Once this process was completed, the area around the cardiac muscles of the victim began to open up, this opening emitted a bright light.
Addendum XXXX-2 The occurrence on 10/08/1983 involving Dr. Mortus Williams gained instant attention from the 05-council to continue further testing into the opening of SCP-XXXX. 1 D-class personnel was chosen for excavation through the gateway. D-XXXX was identified by his government name Daniel Delgado, who was charged under 3 life sentences for multiple crimes including 1st-degree murder, drug trafficking, drug possession, etc. Delgado was a male, 38 years of age, of Hispanic origin, and had a strong physical build. Delgado was sent with a body camera to transmit a live feed, and other communication devices to link back to the foundation.
The subject entered the opening with all the proper equipment worn, there seemed to be no exit as soon as he entered however the opening still remained on the corpse of the victim. Once the feed was on and proper connection with the communication equipment was working foundation personnel could clearly view the environment which D-XXXX could see. As seen and described by the subject, he had entered a single room, containing a chair and table. The entire room and table and chair were made up of a material that was later identified, by a sample, as Ortus-X48. There was a chandelier above the table, which was made of bronze and had working light. Although not enough further investigation can prove this light source was connected to any power, the chandelier was fully operational. There were 2 openings in front of D-XXXX, both in the shape of doorways yet lacking the door. Both openings lead to pure darkness, even when equipped with a 40 watt, 1000 lumens torch the subject could still not see anything past 2cm of the opening.
An attempt to go within the right opening was made however D-XXXX was met with a figure. This entity appeared within a millisecond and stood at around the length of the opening, which was measured to be 2m tall, with a large stature and physique and a lack of any display of limbs, the entity was either covered or had a torso resembling that of a wide black blazer with scarlet red pins. It wore a red mask of a smiling face, which did not display any sign of movement and was made up of unknown material, however, it resembled that of simple plastic. The entity was classed as SCP-XXXX-1 and is known as a Euclid anomaly. The subject was met with no aggression from SCP-XXXX-1 and on the contrary, it began to move backward and open up a further path of Ortus-X48. It restrained from rotating and kept a focus, from where we can presume the oculus are, on the subject. The foundation workers overlooking the excavation advised the subject to follow the anomaly. Once the subject made his way past the opening, the chandelier had turned of completely removing any vision of the previous room, the only visible thing through the live feed and the vision of the subject, was the path being made by SCP-XXXX-1.
Around a time of 2 hours, the subject had followed SCP-XXXX-1 non-stop. However, after that span of time, SCP-XXXX-1 stopped and the environment behind it had lit up revealing 3 large upward-facing cylinders with multiple open windows in which the subject was too far to be able to see inside. Once these structures were revealed SCP-XXXX-1 began to disperse into the ground slowly, not losing focus of the subject until it was completely concealed/gone.
The overseers of the experiment advised further exploration into the structures. Once the subject was close enough there could be an identified staircase displaying multiple murals. These murals had imagery of very grotesque actions such as violent sexual activities, dismemberment, cannibalism, and such things. The entities depicted within these detailed murals had a very uncanny feeling, as described by the subject. They had a very similar structure to homo-sapiens however they lacked any orifices, they had no hair within these depictions nor any clothing of sort, they seemed to display an endomorph physique and had a single eye at the center of their face, however, this eye could change location on the face depending on an unknown variable. The more the subject concentrated on these murals it seemed his heart rate would increase and he would begin to slowly go into a state of distress. Once enough evidence was gathered for the foundation he was advised to continue upwards the stairs.
Once atop the final step, the subject was greeted by 2 large doors about 20 meters in height. The doors had similar carvings on them as the ones from the murals. These grody and deformed images featured the same creatures which were featured on the staircase. However, these works of art, if you could really refer to them as that, featured the same entities depicted in the previous murals. The image was seen to depict 7 of those cyclops' creatures praying toward a larger entity, one which had not been shown in any other form of signs or images throughout this world. The new entity was a large therianthrope, seemingly a combination of spider and woman. It was atop the image on the doors using 2 of its front pedipalps to strangle 1 of the individuals praying.
The subject began to have a strong sense of panic and twitch frantically, almost going into cardiac arrest. However, this state of mind began to ease as the large doors began to open. Once fully opened, the entrance lead to an interesting scene, a vastly long throne room, which seemed to extend far beyond its visible halls and what the subject could see, as past a certain point the darkness would devour any light source directed at it. This throne room was baron, pure red in every aspect. Situated on the singular throne in the middle of the hallway was a heavily obese creature. This entity greeted the subject with a smile, it seemed to display a top body of an extremely obese human, and the lower half of a spider's legs. Of course, continuing the pattern, the creature was purely red in color and lacked any display of eyes, with a head the size of a human torso. The entity was acutely large, seeming to dwarf the subject in width and height, it could be estimated to be around 3.2cm tall. The subject's heart rate was surprisingly low and would stay that way for the remainder of this meeting.
For 7 minutes both stood still, as there was no one else within this endless throne room. Then the creature spoke, at first in greek. It then slowly turned to English as it might have begun sensing the confusion in the subject.
