Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard secure locker, to be opened only during testing and "feeding" in which a single D-class personnel is to operate SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-1 is to informed prior to feeding that it should not compensate said personnel for their losses. Should SCP-XXXX-1 migrate to another device, it is to be contained. Other than the interactions stated above, no interaction is permitted with SCP-XXXX-1. See Incident Report_ for more information.

Description: SCP-XXXX is currently a vintage pocket-watch, believed to have been fabricated between 1800-1830. The face of SCP-XXXX has been damaged, but has been repaired with non-anomalous parts. See Incident___ for details. Chemical analysis performed on resulting shrapnel from SCP-XXXX has yielded that SCP-XXXX has been constructed using non-anomalous steel, glass, bronze, and brass.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a humanoid entity inhabiting SCP-XXXX, appearing to be an Asian man about 40 years of age, wearing a suit. SCP-XXXX-1 has been shown to be able to inhabit other devices, although there are requirements. Should SCP-XXXX-1 cease inhabiting an instance of SCP-XXXX, the instance should no longer be designated SCP-XXXX. The current device SCP-XXXX-1 is inhabiting is to be immediately contained and designated SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 can inhabit all devices capable of measuring, provided there are at least one button, lever, hinge, or dial that is used to calculate or show the amount measured. Activation of SCP-XXXX requires the mechanism to be used to its full extent by pushing, pulling, or rotating the mechanism as far as possible.

Once activated by lifting the lid of the pocket watch, time is temporarily stopped for the duration that the lid is lifted, excepting the person who lifted the lid, who remains normal, and is transported to a pocket dimension. The surrounding area usually varies, changing from clockwork mechanisms to racetracks allegedly depending on SCP-XXXX-1's computer background. SCP-XXXX-1 usually remains immobile around people it has not interacted with.
