jjthirteen (meta SCP)

The following document is to be considered an outdated report on SCP-(designation). For further information, view event 4825. Still, it is required to read both reports if any researcher is assigned to SCP-(designation).

Item #: SCP-(designation)

Object class: Keter

Special containment procedures: SCP-(designation) is to be monitored by multiple level-4 researchers at all times. Any observations regarding changes to SCP-(designation) are to be registered into a report written on paper, and subsequently sent to all other researchers currently assigned to observation of SCP-(designation) for immediate evaluation. When changes are evaluated, permission is to be granted to staff responsible of supression of sensitive information, allowing them to change all SCP records as seen fit. In addition, all activity on SCP-(designation) is to be reviewed by the O5 council every month, in order to ascertain its origin and/or purpose.

Description: SCP-(designation) is an entity posing as the official website of the Foundation, known as "www.scp-wiki.net". Users of SCP-(designation) can view any reports on SCPs, GoIs or registered events already added to SCP-(designation)'s libraries. All additions to SCP-(designation)'s libraries (from now on designated SCP-(designation)-1) are detailed descriptions of Foundation assets. Any new additions or changes to SCPs with a related case of SCP-(designation)-1 are immediately added to the related SCP-(designation)-1 case. There exists a case of SCP-(designation)-1 related to SCP-(designation). SCP-(designation) is currently considered a threat to the Foundation due to the possibility of its discovery by dangerous GoIs, and research into possible termination methods should be prioritized above all else.

Acquisition log: SCP-(designation) was discovered by researcher ██████ ██████ on ██/██ 20██. At first, SCP-(designation) was believed to be a joke set up by Foundation staff, and an attempt was made to shut it down. However, after multiple failed attempts, researcher ██████ ██████ alerted Foundation staff. However, after several other attempts leading to the deaths of researcher ████ ████████ and agent ████ ██████, it was given SCP status.

Test-(designation)-A: One singular class D personell was to be escorted into a standard containment cell with a Foundation-brand computer with internet access. Researchers observing the test through standard monitoring equipment were to give instructions to the class D personell. The class D personell were then to press the "enter" key on the computer, which would run a program responsible for shutting down SCP-(designation).
Results: The class D personell entered the containment cell, and received the instructions. Though the subject expressed slight confusion over the seemingly simple request, they complied quickly. However, as soon as the subject arrived in front of the computer, a malfunction in the power grid resulted in all electronics on site shutting down. Multiple containment breaches proceded, and the test was aborted.
Conclusion: SCP-(designation) is believed to have additional anomolous properties currently unknown to the Foundation. Further testing is required.

Addendum-(designation)-1: The following is a report created by dr. Robert ██████, one of the researchers responsible for the observation of SCP-(designation):

The case of SCP-(designation)-1 related to SCP-(designation) was updated as expected, adding the procedures of test-(designation)-A. However, aproximately one second before the malfunction in the power grid appeared, the SCP-(designation)-1 case was updated again, adding the results of test-(designation)-A before it actually happened. It is possible that SCP-(designation) is able to predict the future. Another more likely possibility is that SCP-(designation) has some way of interacting with electrical systems. I suggest that we momentarily prioritise finding out exactly what properties SCP-(designation) has, as terminating something with unknown properties might have unforeseen consequenses.

The request made by dr. Robert ██████ has been denied.

Test-(designation)-B: One singular class D personell was to be escorted to a remote site aproximately ██ kilometers away from site ██ (hereby referred to as site ██-A). Site ██-A was to be equipped with its own electrical grid, as well as a backup generator. The site was also to be fitted with a Foundation-brand computer with internet access. The class D personell was to push the "enter" key on the computer, which would run a program designed to shut down SCP-(designation).
Results: During transit from site ██ to site ██-A minor difficulties appeared, as an avalanche blocked the planned route. Aproximately █ seconds after a new route had been plotted, multiple researchers monitoring SCP-(designation) had reported changes to the case of SCP-(designation)-1 refering to SCP-(designation), adding a report on Test-(designation)-B. The test proceeded, and the class D personell arrived at site ██-A. When the class D personell reached the computer, they suffered a heart attack. Despite efforts to save them, the class D personell expired. Unable to continue, test-(designation)-B was aborted.
Conclusion: The events that occurred during test-(designation)-B are suspicious, as the timing coincided exactly with the attempted termination of SCP-(designation). Still, further testing is required to determine the exact properties of SCP-(designation). It has been suggested that the request made by dr. Robert ██████ be reconsidered.
