Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4091 is to be kept in break room 12 of Site 19 as it poses no danger and has improved staff morale greatly, it is to be plugged in via HDMI to the HD TV in the break room.
Description: SCP-4091 is an unbranded and unmarked black cable box with a single 120V AC input, a composite RCA video output, and an HDMI output. The object weighs 1.3 kg. The bottom of the object is lined with 6 Phillips head screws. Any attempts to dismantle the object have resulted in the used screwdriver cleanly breaking in half, it is not understood why or how this occurs. There are no external means of controlling SCP-4091 and it does not respond to any generic universal remote control. SCP-4091's anomalous properties come into effect when any human powers it on while it is plugged into any display, after powering on SCP-4091 will, through unknown means, "read" the mind of whoever is viewing the display and will instantly begin playing a movie that is specifically tailored to whoever is viewing it. Test subjects in 100% of cases during debrief will state that the presented film is the best movie they have ever seen. Including subjects with a distaste for film. Genres reported include: Science fiction, horror, war, and comedy (further testing is scheduled to determine is SCP-4091 has a limit to what it can create. These films are also noted to feature famous actors as the characters. How SCP-4091 accomplishes this is unknown. Due to the fact that SCP-4091 poses no danger and has increased site staff morale greatly, it has been moved to break room 12 of Site 19. Further research into the object will take place to determine if SCP-4091 has a limit to what it can create.
