Item #: SCP-4667
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4667 is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment cell, with acoustic foam covering the walls. Four speakers should be installed on each inferior corners of the cell and connected to a sound system, which needs to be playing songs uninterruptedly at a sound volume of 50 to 70 dB. Songs that triggers SCP-4667 to make its body coloration fade to red should be skipped and discarded by an automated system capable of detecting the entity's coloration via camera feed. Maintenance of the containment equipment is to be conducted once every two weeks.
Following incident 4667-A, the sound system must be monitored by two security guards carrying portable speakers containing 20 recently composed songs. Each song must have a minimum duration of 3 minutes. In the event that the sound system starts malfunctioning, one of the portable speakers should be activated and placed inside the cell. Following that, the sound system must be fixed by three Level 2 audio technicians within 2 hours. In case every countermeasure fails and a containment breach is imminent, Mobile Task Force Eta-11 ("Savage Beasts") is to be deployed to contain SCP-4667.
The use of electronic devices within a 20-meter range, excluding the containment equipment, is strictly prohibited unless otherwise directed. Experiments require written approval from two personnel with clearance Level 3 or higher.
Description: SCP-4667 is a 2.11-meter tall humanoid figure, made out of several metal alloys. Analysis of its physical structure composition have shown the presence of maraging steel, tungsten, iridium, rubber, and 19 other components; 8 of them were previously unknown to exist. This property gives its body a rusted silver coloration and a mass of 6.37 tons.
The metallic figure possesses no facial features besides two eye sockets instead of eyes. The entity also has a hole (measuring approximately 3.4 x 0.4 centimeters) located on the back of its head with the name “Ivan” carved above it. SCP-4667 does not have any skin appendages, toes, genitalia or orifices (besides its eye sockets and the opening on the back of its head).
If SCP-4667 is listening to a song which it has not listened to before, SCP-4667 behaves as a sapient being in a cooperative and friendly manner. During this state, it is capable of communicating by using hand gestures and nods, so far being able to understand English, Russian, French, Spanish and Portuguese. During interviews, SCP-4667 ignores questions regarding its past and origin, although it exhibits great enthusiasm towards music related topics.
SCP-4667 exits its docile state when it stops listening to music or starts listening to a song that it has already heard. If this occurs, the entity will get exceedingly distressed, and its body coloration will fade from silver to red, during a period of 15 to 25 seconds. After that, SCP-4667 gets extremely aggressive and hostile, and becomes unresponsive to any attempts of communication. Following previous occurrences, it is estimated that SCP-4667 can perform strikes up to ██████ newtons of force. During interviews while behaving sapiently, SCP-4667 claims that during this state it becomes unconscious, and have no control or knowledge over its actions.
SCP-4667 leaves the hostile behavior at any time if it goes back to listening to a song which it has not listened to. In the event that happens, the entity will become motionless, and the color of its body will go back to silver. Additionally, a piece of paper measuring 2.9 x 7 centimeters will come out of the hole on the back of its head. On the upper side of the paper there is a handwritten message of apologies1, and on the back side, there is printed an unknown logo2 measuring 2 x 2 centimeters.
Origin: On the dawn of ██/██/20██, footage from surveillance cameras in ██████████, Russia, shows a Caucasian man of unknown identity carrying SCP-4667 under his arms3 walking towards Dr. P███████'s4 house.
The footage shows SCP-4667 inanimate until the unknown figure lowered SCP-4667 near Dr. P███████'s front door and approached a round green object to the entity's right shoulder, which triggered SCP-4667 to become animated. The man grabs a note (see Addendum 4667-1) and a cassette player from his pocket and leaves both items on the ground along with SCP-4667. After that, he leaves the place, walking for about six minutes until there are no surveillance cameras to record him.
Twelve minutes later, Dr. P███████ went to the front door to investigate the sounds originated from the cassette player. Dr. P███████ immediately called the Foundation after encountering SCP-4667. Nearest MTF was sent in contain and conduct SCP-4667 to Site-██.
After the event, Dr. P███████ alleged having no affiliation with the metallic figure and never seen it prior the day of its containment. Attempts on identifying or tracking the man who brought SCP-4667 to Dr. P███████ has so far been unfruitful, although further investigation is currently being developed.
Incident 4667-A: On 22/11/20██, SCP-4667 breached containment when the sound system that contains the entity started malfunctioning. The following is a report based on the security cameras footage:
SCPs involved: SCP-4667, [DATA EXPUNGED]
Date: 22/11/20██
Location: Site-██
Description:
[14:32:53] - Sound system starts to malfunction; all speakers stop playing music.
[14:32:58] - SCP-4667 is visibly distressed, and its coloration start fading from silver to red. The security guard assigned to SCP-4667's containment tries fixing the sound system, but has no success.
[14:33:11] - The security guard requests for backup through his radio.
[14:33:19] - SCP-4667 coloration becomes completely red. It runs towards the containment cell door and punches it. The door breaks and falls to the ground.
[14:33:23] - The security guard retreats to regroup with the reinforcement unit.
[14:33:25] - SCP-4667 starts punching the walls. Chunks of concrete fall on the floor.
[14:33:58] - SCP-4667 crushes and damages the sound system control panel.
[14:34:22] - The guard arrives SCP-4667's containment cell with the reinforcement team. SCP-4667 notices their arrival, and charge towards them. The squad tries to incapacitate the entity by shooting at it.

[14:48:37] - SCP-4667 passes by one of the elevators located inside Site-██. SCP-4667 becomes motionless when started listening to a song coming from inside the elevator, which began reverting its aggressive behavior.
[14:48:59] - SCP-4667 enters the elevator.
[14:55:31] - Mobile Task Force Eta-11 makes contact with the entity.
[14:56:09] SCP-4667 was recontained and escorted back to its cell.
Note: // In order to prevent further losses, the containment protocols for SCP-4667 have been updated, since the entity was responsible for 3 containment breaches, 12 employee casualties and neutralization of SCP-████// - Alexei Orlov, Senior Researcher.
Addendum 4667-2: It was discovered that SCP-4667 can exhibit other behaviors besides the docile and the aggressive state. On 02/03/20██, SCP-4667 was under usual containment procedures when the song ███ ██████████ █████ by the band ██████ started playing on the sound system. SCP-4667's coloration began fading from silver to gold, and the entity started headbanging as if it was enjoying the song5. This behavior lasted for 6 minutes and 7 seconds until the music ended and its coloration faded back to silver. A piece of paper came out from the back of its head, with the message "That was awesome!" written on the upper side.
Later interviews revealed that SCP-4667 became unconscious and had no control over its body when the song started playing. The entity also admitted feeling euphoric after regaining consciousness. Trying to recreate the event was unsuccessful, as the entity started going red. Testings with similar songs of the same band/genre to recreate the same results are still pending.
