SCP-XXX shortly before containement.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXX is not to be utilized for testing. SCP-XXX is contained inside the vehicle deck at Site-12. In the event of a containment breach, any subjects mounted on SCP-XXX are to be immediately detained and subjected to a psychological analysis.
SCP-XXX may only be tested by research personnel with level-4 clearance. Per site administration directive, SCP-XXX is to be no longer used for experimentation purposes unless given administrative authorization.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an unbranded, blue bicycle. It has been observed that SCP-XXX emits a compulsion on anyone within 5 meters of it or observing it to embark it. Although, it has been observed that this compulsion can be resisted by some subjects. When mounted, SCP-XXX will transport the subject into an alternate timeline (labelled SCP-XXX-1). The subject is observed to simply dismount SCP-XXXX and walk away in a semi-conscious state, ignoring all outside stimuli. The subject that embarked the bike, now labelled as SCP-XXX-2, would get replaced by SCP-XXXX-3. The bike has been observed to simply disappear after the subject returns to normal consciousness, attempts at observing SCP-XXX while this was happening were met with blindness to the subject observing it. SCP-XXXX will be where the subject left it in the alternate timeline. Thus, interrogation is to be done on the subject after their exposure to SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX-3 substances show no anomalous properties some degree of anomalous properties. SCP-XXXX-3 is a normal homo sapien, that can be terminated. Research done by medical staff note that the subject shows no anomalous properties inside the subject's body.

Within an hour, SCP-XXXX-3 instances are observed have a major change in behavior, including mood swings. Within a few days, the subject begins to emit major signs of mental conditions such as depression, anxiety and PTSD. SCP-XXXX-3 instances are to be psychologically tested for any mental problems. After a period from 1 week to 2 months, SCP-XXX-3 instances may commit suicide. There is a very high chance of this occurring, and if failed, the subject tends to not try it again. If SCP-XXX-3 attempts to ride the bike again, an explosion will occur, killing anyone within a 300m radius, including SCP-XXX-3 (Refer to Incident Report below.) So far, amnestics have also worked in stopping SCP-XXX's effects, but only for a period between 2 weeks and 1 year. Attempts at knowing what happens in SCP-XXX-1 have succeeded, the subject reported issues varying from subject to subject including events which never happened in the subject's life. The subject has been observed to retain some memories from SCP-XXXX-2, although to a very limited extent. SCP-XXXX-3 instances have reported feeling anxious shortly after getting out of SCP-XXX-1. Research by medical staff in the Foundation resulted in the conclusion that SCP-XXXX-3 always suffered mental conditions such as depression, anxiety and PTSD. It has been observed that the subject will begin to change overtime, changing features such as hair colour, eye colour among other things, this usually is done within a period of 1-2 years and the subject generally reports happier moods. Some subjects have also been observed to change sex, depending on the original sex of SCP-XXXX-3, although this is very rare. There have been no abnormalities or anomalies detected after analysis by foundation researchers and medical staff.

Addendum: SCP-XXX was found in a small village in ████████, Mexico. After multiple reported suicides, and mental disorders developed within the village, the Foundation dispatched Field Agent ██████. Field Agent ██████ reported that the suicides and disorders were caused due to SCP-XXX. At 4/5/200█, SCP-XXX was contained by the Foundation and classified as Euclid. ███████ ███████, also known as ████, identified themselves as ████ ██████ shortly after getting off the bike.
The owner of SCP-XXX, ███████ █████████, was taken in by the Foundation for questioning. (Interview Log 1)
