I have no godsdamned idea what I am doing. So cut me some slack and give me plenty of advice or just tell me if I am doing something that is wrong, frowned upon or whatever else. Forgive me for I am incredibly slow. I'm not stupid, just oblivious.
I swear I had more of these but now I'm drawing a blank. Damn you Nerves and acute Memory Loss! This is what I get for going too hard on the Class-A Amnestics eh?
Anyway
Idea-001: My OC that is easily transferable into any and all universes of fiction. Honestly, Johnny would be an interesting idea for an SCP but I don't really know how well until I try. LORE CURRENTLY IN WORKSHOP: ABILITY TO BE REVIEWED DISCONTINUED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Idea-002: I wrote a story that I would love to bring into some legitimate form fit for storytelling one day, I wrote it thinking it would make a nice anime but just making it an alternate dimension to be traveled to through the use of some SCP artifact would be easy enough I suppose? Addendums and Exploration logs would be a bitch to fill out but it would be fun to do in my spare time.
Idea-003: Some sort of person that has been spit out from an alternate history where something significant has been altered enough to still be similar, not apocalyptic and yet interesting enough to still read. 003a is one from a timeline where Rome never fell, and 003b is one if the white tsarist army won the Russian civil war. Would that be an acceptable idea for something for this site or is that too different from the norm or has something like this already exist?
Idea-004: I have a few ideas for weapons of various make, size, quality, material, and usage but whether or not they would make particularly worthy SCPs is a whole other debate unto itself. A few examples are an AK that is made completely from wood yet alters any round fired to have incendiary properties (004a), a Ballista that causes lightning strikes on targets hit by its bolts (004b) and a small Plastic Fork capable of piercing anything (004c).
Idea-005: Honestly, this one is the most pressing of my ideas because unlike the others this one genuinely invokes a sense of fear and dread. I know that this site is supposed to be used for works of fiction and if I was cunning or dishonest enough I could just pretend that this one isn't something I experience for real during certain times of the year. I was always open to the idea of believing in the paranormal and I've had several experiences with spirits, but this thing as far as I can tell has a physical body, albeit a deformed and decrepit one. I call it the Gaper. Essentially an oily-skinned creature of humanoid form with enlarged pit-like eyes and an equally large mouth. It's a nocturnal creature that when in direct contact tries to influence you to look in its direction, for what I can only reasonably assume is so that you can peer into its deep orifices and allow it to devour your soul or something else equally terrifying. I honestly don't like thinking about it but the amateur horror writer in me thinks that the only true way to scare someone is to use something that you yourself are afraid of. And nothing scares me more than that thing.
This is a list of ideas that didn't quite make the cut and might still be useful as supplements to another potential SCP
Idea-004a: Wooden AK
003a Tiberius Atacinus, The Man from another Timeline. Draft Tab Alpha
Item #: Idea-003a
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: 003a is to be contained in a 2.4m x 2.4m x 2.4m containment cell at Site-██. The extra inclusion of the following is to be granted to 003a: A wooden desk, a basic chair, a desk lamp, a journal with a pen, and a bookshelf stocked with history books focusing on the world during and after the creation and destruction of the Roman Empire translated into Latin and one Latin-to-English dictionary.
Under certain circumstances, the approval of at least two (2) level 2 staff members, and the supervision of at least one (1) security personnel, a level 3 Foundation Mechanic may enter and assist 003a with maintaining it's cybernetic and mechanical parts with the help of a translator.
003a is to be interviewed by level 3 scientist Dr. █████ on either a bi-weekly or weekly basis as to better understand the details of the world he originates from. During times where 003a has been compliant and helpful and no alarms have been issued within the last four (4) months, 003a may request approval from the residing level 4 staff member to visit the onsite Library, Mess Hall and Gym under supervision by no less than two (2) security personnel.
In the event of 003a breaching containment, the usage of Class-C sedatives and Electro-Magnetic Pulse weaponry is to be used by security personnel until it is approved by O5-██ to use lethal force.
Description: 003a is an adult male of Mediterranean descent in his late 30s who speaks in Latin yet claims to be from the year 2083, 003a claims to be a Centurion in the Legio Decima Gemina of the Imperial Roman Military. Various cybernetic enhancements, the foremost being an entire robotic prosthetic left limb adorned with the Legion's symbol (in this case a Bull) on its shoulder that can extend itself into a grid-like frame to produce a hard-light construct of a small Testudo or produce a Gladius or Scutum made of a currently unknown metal alloy, further proves this claim. 003a claims his name is Tiberius Atacinus although should be referred to only as 003a in official reports.
Addendum 01: Current compiling of interview logs with 003a has resulted in the current understanding of 003a's world of origin, here are the brief points of importance:
- 003a's world's history is much the same as our own until Caesar's Civil War was about to start in 49 BCE.
- At some point before 51 BCE a vast cache of currently unidentifiable and possibly extraterrestrial origin was found by Julius Caesar in [REDACTED] near the Cevennes Mountains. 003a states that it was there that Caesar made the first contact with their gods in person, and through their guidance ignited the war that would ultimately lead to Caesar becoming Dictator for life of the Roman Republic.
- The cache and technology within was apparently substantial enough to have been the direct cause of the great fire of Rome in 64 CE due to an error the researchers encountered. The exact cause is unknown to 003a
- Because of the intervention of these "Gods" when Constantine became Emperor he did not officialize Christianity as the main religion of the Roman Empire and Christians continued to be oppressed until they fled to beyond the Hadrian Wall.
- Once the knowledge held within the data cache was fully uncovered and finally being understood, the Roman empire realized the potential for Gunpowder and rudimentary firearms centuries before our timeline. Roughly
