SCP-XXXX manifesting in an apartment complex in █████████, ████████

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The entrance of SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure storage warehouse in Sector 35J at Site 39. A steel load bar is to be fitted in between the open doors of SCP-XXXX, to prevent closing. The warehouse is to be stocked with no less than 750 elevator cars, all wired to a control console to allow for remote control of the door status.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a spatial anomaly which manifests entryways in the location of elevators across the globe. During a manifestation event, SCP-XXXX will appear in the place of the any standard elevator car. The interior of SCP-XXXX is 1 m x 1.5 m x 2.25 m in volume. It resembles a standard modern elevator, with wood panel walls, 3 handrails, 4 lights in the ceiling, and thin gray carpeting on the floor.

On the right side of the interior entrance doors is a button panel with 43 faded white buttons arranged into 9 rows. Each button has is labeled with a value, and lights up upon being pressed. While a majority of the buttons are labeled with numbers, the remainder is labeled with a seemingly random assortment of letters, Greek characters, pictographs, and unknown runic symbols. Pressing a button will cause SCP-XXXX to travel to a new location, similar to a standard elevator travelling between floors. The locations SCP-XXXX has access to appears to only be limited to locations with the presence of an elevator. Each button tends to transport SCP-XXXX to a specific type of location, though the exact location itself varies. See Addendum XXXX-A for a full summary of the SCP-XXXX buttons.

If the interior is damaged or altered in any way, it will revert to its standard appearance once the doors are shut with the interior left unobserved. The presence of any recording or sensor equipment seem to prevent the SCP-XXXX from repair, leaving the method as to which the process occurs currently unknown. It is possible to damage SCP-XXXX to an extent that prevents it from performing it's primary function when occupied, though
