SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURE: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a locked 20cm thick lead-lined stone box, suspended from above in a larger 250m by 250m by 250m container by ropes. Said box should be suspended 200m from the roof, and located 200m away from each side of the container, raised 200m in the air. Mandatory cleaning of SCP-XXXX containment cell is required every 6 months. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be destroyed immediately. If SCP-XXXX is releasing toxin's, cleaning procedures are to be postponed for approximately 2 months.
In the case of a breach, SCP-XXXX is to be sedated with amnestic's and moved back to containment. If however, SCP-XXXX is releasing toxins, a d-class subject is to be used instead of a guard or doctor. Subject is to be sent for quarantine indefinitely until all symptoms are resolved afterwards.

DESCRIPTION: SCP-XXXX cannot be fully comprehended or described, as approximately every 9 months, the entity sheds all physical attributes, and develops a new form. SCP-XXXX has so far shown that it cannot control its reincarnated form; SCP-XXXX has expressed a likening to enlarged Arachnida, serpents, centipedes, Squamata and millipedes when reincarnation.
Approximately every 9 months, SCP-XXXX emits a potent toxin, which causes all subjects within a 200m radius to suffer from mild headaches, mild nausea, and dizziness. Within 10 minutes of exposure, subjects will begin throwing up and will feel an urge to find the source of the toxin. Once a subject is within 30m of SCP-XXXX and has had 15 minutes of exposure, the skin will start to erode and flake, with traces of algae observed to form inside any eroded skin. After more than 10 minutes of extreme exposure to SCP-XXXX toxins, subjects become an instance of SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX has so far shown that this "moulting" process lasts approximately 5 hours and 16 minutes, before an SCP-XXXX-2 is formed. SCP-XXXX-3 is the collective term for all subjects that have been exposed to the entities toxins. SCP-XXXX-3 subjects become lifeless, decaying bodies. It has been observed that although it appears that SCP-XXXX toxins are essentially killings subjects at a faster rate, the entities toxins only affect the physical body of subjects.
