Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept within a sterile, unventilated storage room. Feet should be shuffled when traveling in the room for any reasons, in order to avoid kicking up dust or other fine particles.

SCP-XXXX is to be sequestered on a 10cm x 20cm x 50cm limestone block with heavy porosity, so as to maximize surface area. Several pyrolytic carbon sheets are installed within the block. The block is levitated in a magnetic field produced a Bitter solenoid1, and should remain like this at all times. Turning off the solenoid or otherwise disabling its ability to levitate the limestone block may result in immediate escape of SCP-XXXX.

In the case of solenoid failure, the entire containment structure, including the block, the solenoid, all surfaces in the current containment room, and any personnel working to contain SCP-XXXX, should be immediately and gratuitously doused in water. A pressure-triggered sensor has been installed beneath the solenoid and will initiate a spray of pressurized water from nozzles in both the ceiling and floor.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a two-dimensional depiction of a woman in Edwardian garb standing in profile. It is composed of a substance which appears to be purple ink, although the nature of the anomaly has made this impossible to verify. The woman appears to be wearing a gas mask, and is sometimes shown as holding an umbrella. SCP-XXXX varies in size between appearances, with the largest recorded instance standing over three meters in height.

SCP-XXXX was first recorded on the back of a stop sign located [DATA REDACTED]. It disappeared several days later, according to eyewitness accounts, apparently resurfacing on an overpass [DATA REDACTED]. Originally assumed to be a form of street art, the Foundation was first alerted to its anomalous properties when it appeared inside the house of █████ Salazar in █████, Arizona, causing her to report unlawful entry to the local police force.

SCP-XXXX has strongly memetic properties, and its visualization will make viewers experience worsening emotions of panic, paranoia, and a sense of hostility towards authority and authority figures. Those exposed to SCP-XXXX for considerable amounts of time (at least a cumulative thirty minutes over the course of a day) report incredible agitation and unrest, as well as thoughts of wishing to vocally protest against their government. Several went on to express vitriolic views towards government, local ordinances, religious figures, and even their own parents, complaining of attempts to "stifle their freedom".

{Draft far from finished but I spent far too long on this right now}
