Special Containment Procedures: SCP $$$$-A is to be kept in a standard humanoid containment chamber equipped with standard human facilities, similar to those of a prison cell. Only psychologically screened individuals of level 3 or higher are allowed access to SCP-$$$$-A, and no more than 2 at a time. Personal testing on SCP-$$$$-A is to be minimal due to the mind altering capabilities of SCP-$$$$-A through conversation. SCP-$$$$-A does not require food, but will eat any and all food presented to it extremely quickly. Currently no way of containing SCP-$$$$-B is known, and ways to contain instances are still under development. Under absolutely no circumstances should SCP-$$$$-A and SCP-$$$$-B be allowed to contact each other in any way.
Description: SCP-$$$$ is a cyclic event recurring once every 48 hours. At the beginning of the event a seemingly random existing person will develop a strong desire for political power, and will do everything within his or her capabilities to achieve this power. These individuals have been classified as SCP-$$$$-B. For 24 hours SCP-$$$$-B will be overwhelmed with the sole goal of political, monarchal, or even tyrannical power, with diminishing feelings of desire remaining present throughout the afflicted individuals entire lifespan. It is unknown why or how individuals undergo this shift, or why individuals are chosen. SCP-$$$$ seems to occur more often in individuals with a high IQ or those living in a highly populated area, potentially because these individuals possess a higher possibility for political growth. Individuals connected to former SCP-$$$$-B instances such a friends, children, or coworkers have a high chance of becoming a future instances and should be heavily monitored.
SCP-$$$$-A will take the appearance of the current SCP-$$$$-B instance for 24 hours, seemingly while SCP-$$$$-B is at the height of their affliction. During these 24 hours SCP-$$$$-A will seemingly behave accordingly to their appearance, matching the personality and knowledge of SCP-$$$$-B instances. After the initial 24 hours, SCP-$$$$-A will return to its normal form, a caucasian man from apparent northern european descent. While in this form SCP-$$$$-A will attempt to further a power agenda (impossible in containment), and anyone in contact with it will feel urged to assist its motives if possible. After another 24 hours the cycle will repeat, SCP$$$$-B will take form in another individual, and SCP-$$$$-A will take the form of this instance.
SCP-$$$$ currently poses no direct threat to foundation efforts, nor does it pose any threat to the people or governments of earth. Once political power is achieved, the former instance of SCP-$$$$-B retains any political beliefs from its time before being afflicted, and shows no anomalous traits or tendencies. However, given the caustic political atmosphere of many powerful governments, the Ethics Committee has decided that SCP-$$$$ grants an unfair political advantage and should be suppressed if possible.
SCP-$$$$ was originally observed by the foundation when a string of political constituents found success in United States Government, including a father and two of his sons, among others. SCP-$$$$-A was originally contained in _, Texas when _ __ was observed with an exact replica of himself by foundation personell. Knowing that this instance didn’t have an identical twin, both of them were taken into temporary foundation custody. When SCP-$$$$-A changed forms, the foundation administered amnestics to Mr.___ and he was released, however SCP-$$$$-A has been in foundation custody ever since.
