Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-2 is to be contained within an airtight steel dome, 20 meters tall, 20 meters wide, and 5 cm thick. The inside of the walls should be 32° F or colder at all times. A sprinkler system is to water the SCP-XXXX-2 every 3 days. Any SCP-XXXX-1 found anywhere in the chamber, besides SCP-XXXX-2, is to be frozen and sent to Site ██ immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a species of trees located at █████ ███. The trees appear to be ordinary, non-anomalous trees. The trees anomalous properties come from the sap, designated SCP-XXXX-1, which the original 5 trees produce. These trees are designated SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-2 originated from the company, ███████, who specializes in genetics. One of their experiments was to create a hybrid of pine trees and [REDACTED]. The goal of the hybrid is unknown. The end product created SCP-XXXX-2.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a sap which can spread through water and humans. When SCP-XXXX-1 comes into contact with water, it will convert the water into SCP-XXXX-1 at a rate of twice the original volume per hour. When SCP-XXXX-1 comes into contact with a human, it has the same effect as when it comes into contact with water, but inside of the human's bloodstream. The process is said to hurt the subject immensely until 40% of their bloodstream has been converted to SCP-XXXX-1. Once they have reached this state, they will pass out. The subject is then designated SCP-XXXX-3.

Once SCP-XXXX-3 wakes up 1-██ hours later¹, it will follow the following procedure:

1. If the subject had a memory of going to a river, lake, or ocean nearby, SCP-XXXX-3 will go to the location.
2. The host body will open it's jaw twice the normal size a human jaw can open, and spill all the built up SCP-XXXX-1 into the liquid.
3. SCP-XXXX-1 will then begin to convert the liquid, until all the liquid has been converted.

3:45:12 - Subject reports they feel dizzy.
3:58:34 - Subject passes out.
48:00:00 - Subject's skin falls off, leaving a mold of their body made of SCP-XXXX-1.
144:00:00 - Subject's body is in multiple pieces.
168:00:00 - Subject's body fully disintegrates.
Analysis:

1. If subject has no memory of a water source, they will not wake up after they pass out.
2. SCP-XXXX-1 disintegrates after 1 week.
