Any personnel without 05 authorization leaving the site are to be administered amnestics such that no memory of the site remains.

Description:

SCP-XXXX is a perfect black monolith measuring exactly 1x1x6 meters. 30 Neon blue bands 1 cm in width ring the surface of the monolith. 104 different model of electrical access ports encompass the 7th ring. Models identified include: Digital Visual Interface, DisplayPort, eSATA, PS/2, Serial, VGA connector, SCSI, USB, DIN connector, FireWire, MIDI, and Foundation Secure Model 14. It is also capable of connecting to devices via Bluetooth, appearing as █▓▒░♜░▒▓█ and not requiring a password. The remaining port models are currently unidentified.

Connecting to SCP-XXXX using any of these methods results in the device being used to lose all previous functionality, and boot up to a black screen with only the word "WELCOME" in large font in the center of the screen, above an empty bar awaiting input.

The bar functions as a standard search bar, compatible with any input methods connected. Anything from direct questions, names, places, or dates can be entered into the search bar.

Entering a question results in a page giving a highly detailed answer. Documented instances include:

The full catalog of information obtained from SCP-XXXX is contained on site with SCP-XXXX. Any use of information obtained from SCP-XXXX must be authorized by at least 2 separate 05 council members, and if authorized, may only be presented under the guise of [DATA EXPUNGED].

Entering a name or location into the search bar results in a page containing a basic history pertaining to the subject, though further details or specific information can be acquired by asking for it as a direct question. The information isn't limited to past events. For still living individuals, it includes all major events that will transpire in their future, going so far as to include a date and cause of death. For locations, all future major events that will occur at it, as well as the date and means of its destruction, are included.

Entering a date gives all major events that transpired during it. The window can be as general as a year, or as specific as a day in that year. Again, the information is not limited to past dates. Future dates can be input, and information will appear detailing the major events of them.

How all of this information is obtained is unknown, and whether it is contained within SCP-XXXX itself, or determined from outside input prior to presenting it, is equally uncertain. Any attempts to ask questions about SCP-XXXX result in the message: I'M SORRY: I DON'T HAVE THAT INFORMATION. As of this report, all information pertaining to future events have so far proven true.

Information as far as 17 January, 2137AD can be requested. Attempting to enter a date past this point, or ask a question that exceeds this date, are met with the message: I'M SORRY: NOTHING EXISTS

While viewing any page of information, a footnote at the bottom of the page reads Edit. Selecting this footnote allows any information on the page to be edited. Brief testing concluded that any altered information residing in the future comes true just as consistently as unedited information. Seemingly allowing a user to effectively decide the future. Attempting to edit a page to a date after 17 January, 2137AD, results in the message: ERROR: NOTHING EXISTS

Testing on altering information residing in the past was approved on 25 September 1998, but still has yet to be conducted. Personnel approved to conduct this testing are currently on site, and will provide their analysis once they start testing. Expect an update to this report in the near future.
