Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a standard holding cell. Level-4 security clearance is required for individuals wishing to remove SCP-XXXX from it's cell. The cell is to be locked and monitored 24/7 via CCTV. No inanimate objects not fastened to the ground directly (other than records) are allowed within SCP-XXXX's holding cell, and the sprinklers within the holding cell should be filled with gasoline. Direct control over the power in SCP-XXXX's holding cell is necessary to help contain SCP-XXXX-1 during and after testing.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a gray record player made in 1983 by an unknown company. SCP-XXXX has the ability to transport objects in and out of reality via unknown means. Depending on the type of record placed within SCP-XXXX, differing sizes of objects will be affected by SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects. One-sided singles will affect smaller objects, two-sided singles will affect medium sized objects, one-sided albums will affect larger objects, and two-sided albums will affect objects roughly the size of a house.
The process of transporting these objects leaves behind a rather large luminescent blue flame, which will spread indefinately until introduced to a flammable liquid. In the event of this flame, now referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, coming in contact with an object which is not directly connected to the ground and meets the size perameters set by the record within SCP-XXXX, said item will be transported out of existence. SCP-XXXX-1 seems to completely ignore objects that do not meet the correct size perameters. In the event of a power outage, SCP-XXXX-1 has been shown to ignore any object of any kind, which has proven helpful during and after testing.

The following are SCP-XXXX test logs from 2014 - 2015.

Test XXXX 1: Record: A one-sided single.
Result: A can of air freshener, and a relatively small instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

Test XXXX 2: Record: A two-sided single.
Result: A broken, wooden chair, and a relatively small instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

Test XXXX 3: Record: A one-sided album.
Result: A small room from a film set, and a medium-sized instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

Test XXXX 4: Record: A two-sided album.
Result: Half of a house and a significantly large instance of SCP-XXXX-1.

Test XXXX 5: Record: A two-sided album.
Result: See Addendum.

Addendum: Testing SCP-XXXX with any album is henceforth prohibited due to a house, seemingly originating from Kansas, being transported into it's holding cell, thus destroying it.
