966/714 Crosstest 3/21/20
TEST DESIGNATION: 914x714 Crosstest
Lead Researcher: Supervisor [REDACTED] Okayguy
Aiding Personnel: Officer Speedwagon, FE CPL Baseplate, HCZ SSU TurtleScrub
D-Class Personnel: D-5310
Purpose: To determine if the effects of SCP-714 (when worn by a subject) counteracts the effects of SCP-966.
Hypothesis: The wearer will be able to fall unconscious naturally while wearing SCP-714 due to it's effects.
Note: Commencing of this test was delayed due to a 106 breach.
BEGIN LOG:
5:27 PM: D-5310 and SCP-714 were brought to the CC. The D Class was told to wear 714.
5:31 PM: D-5310 was put into the chamber
5:32 PM: D-5310 mysteriously died after 42 seconds in the chamber, he was to be extracted at exactly 50 seconds.
END LOG
Conclusions:
I am unsure at this time about what exactly killed D-5310, but it was incredibly strange and an unforeseen outcome. Due to this, the logical conclusion to come to would be that the test was unsuccessful, however it may be possible that something affected my results.
053 Gas Theory
TEST DESIGNATION: 053 Gas Theory
Lead Researcher: Supervisor [REDACTED] Okayguy
Aiding Personnel: Dr. Nox, Dr. Joseph Sievers
D-Class Personnel: MTF SSVC Jinx
Purpose: To test my hypothesis about a gaseous substance that will emit from 053 when affecting her subjects.
Hypothesis: A gas or some other substance will be detected, it's not just "mind control" after all, is it?
BEGIN LOG:
D-Class MTF SSVC Jinx was instructed to enter the containment chamber and interact with SCP-053, he complied and caused no trouble for Foundation employees. After about 8 minutes within the chamber, he began having visual hallucinations. After viewing the thermal scan results and the gas detector results, an unknown substance was emitted from the area SCP-053 was standing in, which made its way over to D-Class MTF SSVC Jinx. A few seconds after the gas reached the area the Class D was standing in, he began reporting the hallucinations. We were not informed of what these hallucinations were. After almost precisely 10 minutes, he turned into a decayed version of himself that can only be described as a "zombie" and began showing the homicidal tendencies outlined in the object description, he was promptly terminated. This event also lined up with a 8% increase in an "Unknown" gas that was detected in the chamber, and a large emission shown on the the thermal scanner.
END LOG
Conclusions: Some substance emitted from SCP-053 physically and psychologically changes a human being exactly 10 minutes after exposure to the entity. More testing advised.

Purpose of the experiment: Result: |

LOG:
03/31/20 6:21 PM EST:
Environment specifications: nutrient agar filled petri dishes, precisely 25 degrees celsius, minor variation.
Sample specifications: Cotton swabs with samples from foundation door buttons and walls, one from blast doors (173's cell door) and the floor of 173's cc.04/01/20 6:16 PM EST:
Growth is coming along fine, nothing new to report.
04/07/20 11:41 AM EST:
I actually forgot about this project and therefore missed nearly a weeks worth of logs, however the results are in.
RESULTS
I noticed a lot of bacteria in the petri dish with the wall swabs, however very little variation in color, shape, size, and smell of the colonies. For the button and door swab dish, there was a larger variation of bacteria accompanied by the bacteria being larger themselves as well as being more abundant. This was to be expected from something that every foundation employee touches (some of whom fail to wash their hands after using the facilities). The dish with the most variation in every field was the 173 swabs. There was an incredibly large variation in color, size, density, and smell. This was to be expected from a cell filled with what appears to be blood and feces, although it seems a bit dirtier than I initially thought it was.

Experiment-682-1
Sedative creation, SCP-682

Purpose of the experiment: Result: |
Subject: Date/Location: |
LOG:
The contents of the solution are as follows: 100lb Godfather OG marijuana strain, 3kg aerosolized melatonin, 1kg aerosolized ketamine. The IV drip contained more ketamine.
I had much trouble in the past performing this because every time I tried there were either not enough MTF/Security or a CI raid/breach was in progress.
I had the Class-D prepared outside of the cell with the IV alongside three security watching him and SCP-999. The other two security were inside the control room alongside me, Senior Biologist Ted, and Doctor Joge. I supplied everyone who did not already have one with gas masks in the event that the aerosol solution spread outside of SCP-682's cell. After roughly 2 minutes, SCP-682 ceased moving. He stayed like that for the 20 minutes we observed him for. After that, the cell was opened and the D-Class with the IV drip was sent in. Once the Class-D was extracted from the cell, we observed SCP-682 for roughly 30 minutes, at that point we had the Class-D go back in and retrieve the intravenous drip. We observed SCP-682 movement, or lack thereof for some time which I did not take note of although it felt like a while. Once we began seeing SCP-682 stir, the test was considered finished, Class A amnestics were applied to the D-Class, and everyone returned to their normal positions.
Conclusions:
The sedative was considered a success, which makes me believe that this is the exact solution we should use in the surgery.

Sedative testing, 294x682
|
Purpose of the experiment: Result: |
Subject: Date/Location: |
LOG:
Test-A: Lavender
The scent of lavender proved ineffective in calming SCP-682 to any visible degree. Extensive quantities were used, no affect was shown at any time.
Test B: Small dose of aeresolized ketamine
This simply sedated him briefly (as observed in the testing of sedatives for article-682-1) instead of calming him or making him any more docile than he was.
Test C: Alprazolam (AKA Xanax)
Despite the rather strong affects it has on humans, alprazolam had incredibly little effect on SCP-682, perhaps making him sluggish for a few minutes. Generous quantities were used.
Test D: Diazepam (AKA Valium)
Promising results, SCP-682 ceased movement for 10 minutes, however he was still conscious. Will take note for further testing.
ANOMALOUS OUTPUTS
Test E: "Cup of Calm"
The input produced a bright white liquid, almost blinding. Upon arrival for this experiment, SCP-682 was (conveniently) already enraged, however still inside of his cell. I quickly poured the cup of calm on him and within minutes he was docile again.
Note: Although it might not have anything to do with the test, it was noted that the next time SCP-682 breached, he was more aggressive than normal.
Test F: "Something that will make SCP-682 calm” (294 input)
OUTPUT: "OUT OF RANGE"
Note: Perhaps it exists, just not within this dimension?
Conclusions:
All tests considered failures aside from Test E. Test D will be researched further to potentially develop an easy method of recontaining SCP-682. I think that the "cup of calm" may not be safe to use as it may cause SCP-682 to become even more aggressive after consumption/contact with the substance in the cup.

Procedures:
Procedure:
1. Go to SCP-682's cell with the valium, the required amount of guards, and SCP-999
2. Have the cell opened and SCP-999 ready to tickle SCP-682 in case something goes wrong
3. Feed SCP-682 the valium
4. Exit the cell and close it, proceed to observe
5. Conclude test
LOG
Note: I multiplied the valium dosage from the previous test by 4.
I had TRU Operative Leo, Security Chief Acro, Lieutenant Hert, SSO Zap, SSO Liam Feilon, and SSMO Jo assist me when performing this test. I entered the containment chamber with SCP-999 right by my side, and proceeded to feed SCP-682 the valium. After observation for the next 10 minutes, no deviation from previous results were noted, unfortunately. SCP-682 displayed the same exact reaction he had the last time I performed this, despite the quadrupled dosage. It appears that valium is only an effective sedative to a certain point.
Conclusions:
Perhaps I should pursue another method of making SCP-682 calm, as this one is only effective to a certain degree. Maybe I will continue research into substances powerful enough to sedate such a creature.
