Item #: SCP-4000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4000-1, SCP-4000-2, and SCP-4000-3 are to be securely linked together and plugged into the headphone jack of any supported computer or laptop. SCP-4000 is to be sealed in a standard object container at Site [REDACTED] and should have one armed guard atleast two meters away from the computer or laptop that SCP-4000 is currenty attatched to.
Description: SCP-4000 is a set of Kinyo SW-6106 speakers, which includes a singular subwoofer. The two speakers are both classified as SCP-4000-1 and SCP-4000-2, and the subwoofer is classified as SCP-4000-3. SCP-4000 was discovered in Indianapolis, Indiana at 4:48 PM alongside a Toshiba L755D-S5204 Satellite laptop. All tests with other laptops and hardware have resulted in the hardware ceasing to operate normally.
SCP-4000's anomalous effects activate once a subject is within one meter of the object. Cries for help begin to play through SCP-4000, and begins to attract the subject. SCP-4000 then begins to play a loud beeping sound, which acts as an amnestic. SCP-4000 then begins to open the disk drive of the Toshiba laptop and an unknown entity, classified as SCP-4000-4, exits the laptop and enters the subject via the nasal cavity. SCP-4000 will have full control over the subject and will attempt to breach containment until the host has been terminated or expires naturally. Once SCP-4000 has a host, it will begin to cry for help and ask researchers and scientists, namely Dr. Griffin, to open the chamber doors and allow it to exit the facility.
