Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3561 is to be kept in a standard object containment locker at Site-64.
SCP-3561 can be handled by hand, but it is recommended for staff to handle SCP-3561 with metallic tongs. SCP-3561 is to be checked once a day by a researcher with minimum of level 1 clearance. If any abnormal changes occur they are to report it to Dr. ██████.
Description: SCP-3561 appears to be a black shirt with no abnormalities to its appearance. SCP-3561 is made of cotton, linen and wool. After a shirt with identical appearance but different properties to SCP-3561 was received from 'The Factory' The foundation have concluded that SCP-3561 also originated from 'The factory.'
SCP-3561 was located in ██████. A woman reported the top half of her husband had disappeared after he wore SCP-3561. The shirt was collected in 20██ and transported to Site-64 for testing. .
SCP-3561 is incapable of locomotion.
SCP-3561 possesses slight sentience as it is able to choose what it wants to digest.
When SCP-3561 is worn, within a period of 5 minutes, the wearer will appear to slowly collapse into the shirt. this appears outwardly as some kind of a digestion process of SCP-3561. During the process the wearer is conscious. Pain is endured during the digestion process, if the subject attempts to remove SCP-3561 they will feel indescribable pain.

After the wearers arms and head have completely been sucked into the shirt, the upper half of the wearer will completely disappear. The upper half is referred to as the head, arms and torso. (Anything At the same level or above the appendix) It is unknown whether SCP-3561 digests, or transports the subjects upper half to an unknown location. SCP-3561 digests the persons limbs and spits out any items it does not desire. these items include teeth, hair and nails. SCP-3561 chooses to digest the bones as well. The slice point is slightly below the appendix, which only leaves half of the body remaining from the hips down. SCP-3561 does not take anything below the wearers appendix.
After SCP-3561 has taken the upper half of the wearer, the shirt falls to the ground and the remaining of the wearer (Waist and below) are left to die.
The shirt seemingly has no purpose. Some people believe the shirt was made as a means to murder people. This theory was put forward after an instance of the shirt was found on the black market, but taken down after 50 minutes of being put on.
Addendum 01
"This morning a package arrived at the facility. After the package was checked it was brought into the facility. The package had two words on it, these words were 'The Factory.' The shirt was tested on with a D-Class subject as soon as the package was authorized for entry. The shirt removes the lower half of the human body. It possesses the same effect as SCP-3561 but it removes a different part of the body. This gives reason us to believe that SCP-3561 could have been constructed within 'The Factory.'"
Addendum 02
On 14/2/██ Dr. ██████████ Reported that SCP-3561 had a picture printed on the front. When Dr. ██████ came to check, the picture was gone. Dr. ██████████ claimed the picture was a sad face. He said it was printed in yellow and showed no other features other than eyes and a frown. Could this show an emotion or just a trick of the eye?
Addendum 03
A class-D subject put on SCP-3561 on 19/2/██ for an authorized test. About 2 minutes in, the subject stopped responding to our questions. The subject then, started pounding on the door, the pounding lasted 7 minutes he demanded to be let free.
After these 7 minutes The subjects head was then pulled into the shirt which ate him.
This was the longest recorded time of a subject to wear SCP-3561. Further testing is being requested to determine whether SCP-3561 is becoming more sentient, and whether it was the one requesting to be freed, or if it was the Class-D.
