Description: SCP-XXXX is a pair of prescription glasses, designed to correct hipermetropy. The object was found at the state of São Paulo, Brazil, in the city of ██████, in a condominium. The former owner appears to have committed suicide by hanging and was later found by the landlord. Next to his body, there was a letter (See Addendum SCP-XXXX-01) along with SCP-XXXX. Due to the letter's content, a local foundation investigator took an interest in the case. Upon inspecting and using SCP-XXXX, its anomalous properties were discovered.

When looking at any sentient or sapient being through the lens of SCP-XXXX, its user will experience extreme empathy for the subject that is being looked at. In addition to the initial effect, the user of SCP-XXXX begins to comprehend the subject, understanding their opinions and viewpoints. It is possible for SCP-XXXX to change its wearer's belief, either if the subject is incredibly convinced of a specific topic, or its wearer is uncertain of said topic. Even if the user of SCP-XXXX doesn't know the reason for a subject's feelings, he will still empathize with them nonetheless.

SCP-XXXX also works with fictional characters, although with different effects. When observing a fictional character, the user of SCP-XXXX starts to understand it as the director or creator intended, comprehending the character's purpose in the given context.
