Special Containment Procedures: Continued 24 hour surveillance of the region of near-space ranging from 10 to 150 miles above Earth's surface is to be conducted by researchers of Level-3 Clearance or above at Foundation Sites 19, 27, 09, and 01. Personnel assigned to this task are to be screened by on-site medical staff to ensure good mental and physical health weekly.

As SCP-5254 instances cannot be detected or otherwise identified through the use of remote visual aids, including but not limited to cameras, infrared imaging or satellite mapping, personnel will utilize on-site conventional telescopes attached to external stations. Researchers must be subjected to an eye examination monthly. Personnel who fail to meet a minimum vision criteria of 20/20 are to be reassigned.

Any researcher who identifies characteristics commonly manifested with an SCP-5254-type event must report all findings to their supervisor immediately.
