NASO-001 or HVHSD (High Voltage Handheld Securing Device) is a tool used by every official site.
it was made to temporarly disable "Indestructible" scp objects.
in simpler words NASO-001 is a tazer for scp's
Its only supposed to be used on extremly tough to detain scps and not scp that are known to be able to die from high voltage shock (Incident 939-A1 (not noted of))
Contaiment:
NASO-001 is contained in heavy contaiment zone (in most sites not near the checkpoint to entreance zone)
To open the room containing NASO-001
a level 4 with MTF unit epselon-11 with commander permissions is required.
Everthing above the level will also open the contaiment chamber of NASO-001
Precausions:
NASO-001 is very ineffective against SCP object that are not made out of living tissue (EX.SCP-173), and it is not recommended to use the charge on these SCP objects
NASO-001 will instanteniously kill all humans that enter the electric beam
NASO-001 uses F65SD super batteries as the source of energy.
Scp encounters:
SCP-106 and commander [REDACTED] (got NASO-001 using his keycard)
Commander started charging NASO-001 as he saw SCP-106 approaching
SCP-106 was exposed to the beam for 15 seconds (full charge)
SCP-106 seemed to loose intrest in commander [REDACTED] and started "fleeing"
SCP-106 was documented to be later "afraid" of commander [REDACTED] for 10 minutes after the usage (didnt try to attack)
SCP-106 was reported to move slower than "normal" for the 5 hours after the encounter.
SCP-106 contained 5,1 hours after the encounter
END OF ENCOUNTER.
SCP-939 and D-9284775 (stole NASO-001 during a contaiment breach)
D-92 started running not knowing that SCP-939 is already chasing him
D-92 was bit losing 0,5 L of blood
SCP-939 fleed prepearing for another attack
D-92 started charging the NASO-001
SCP-939 saw it as a chance to attack again
D-92 exposed SCP-939 to the beam for 5 seconds
SCP-939 began screaming slurs directed at D-92 and quickly ran away
SCP-939 was found with severe electric burns
SCP-939 didnt resist contaiment too much because of the damage done
D-92 was not terminated for "help" in containing SCP-939
D-92 Got the whole memory of the breach erased
END OF ENCOUNTER.
Other:
Site-███ is the only known site with 2 NASO-001 models.
NASO-001 is a smaller prototype of the HID turret.
NASO-001 is able to produce a 4x0,2 m beam of electricy ranging from 1 to 4 Million volts.
NASO-001 weights 4,5 Kg
