Special Containment Procedures: SCP 5000 Is to be kept in a large block 20x20 Meters wide, protected by 5 feet of reinforced concrete, and a large garage style door that is to be locked at all times, and should only be opened if SCP-5000 is to be transferred to another site.
Description: SCP-5000 Appears to be, on first sight, an M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank of the Australian Army. but when the insides of the tank are entered, the individual appears to be transferred into another, nightmare like, dimension.
When the internal lights are turned on, they emit a dark red light. When the lights are turned off, Class D personnel that have been sent inside reported hearing whispers, hellish screams, primarily of a girl between the ages of 9-12, speaking a strange language that has not been deciphered yet. When looking through the commander's hatch, the containment space could be seen normally, but occasionally, Paranormal activity is sighted, although, it does not actually happen while outside the tank. This also applies to other sights or vision ports inside the tank. When looking through the gunner's sight however, people have reported to see an extremely disturbing face, An extremely pale girl, with her hair completely covering her face, roughly in the height of 4'9, just standing. After a period of time, these two figures appear to change. And after looking long enough, Class D Individual [DATA EXPUNGED] Was jumped by the girl standing, and promptly died of a heart attack. Shortly before dying, he was able to say that he was able to see the girl's face, being even more disturbing than the first image projected by the gunner's sight.
The tank is still fully drivable, and its Machine guns and Cannon are still fully functional, but when fired, they emit a high pitched scream, resembling the girl that inhabits the tank.
The tank was serving the Australian army from 2010 to [DATA EXPUNGED] When it was recovered by the SCP Foundation. A moth before being taken in by the foundation, An 8 year old girl was murdered by one of the crew members of the tank, which was court-martialed and sent to prison. The research team assigned to SCP-5000 Believes it is the reason for the tank being the way it is internally. After a few weeks of paranormal incidents with the tank's new crew, the tank was turned in to the Foundation, and now resides in Site-██.
Addendum: A Crew of Class D mysteriously disappeared without trace, except for [REDACTED], Who claimed his friend's were one by one grabbed by the legs by extremely pale hands, with no visible body, and dragged through the tank's walls. He noted how they were mocking the spirit of the girl that inhabited the tank, and also sexist jokes.
