Special Containment Procedures: Specimen can not be contained as it is only found inside the internet. It can however, be provented by using a military-grade anti-virus software. The Specimen has been known to easily bypass normal anti-viruses, and will still infect the computer it is on.

Description: The Specimen will appear on many sites and apps as ads and links, if clicked, the virus will start to infect the hosts computer. The computer will then be turned off, once the host turns the computer back on, the specimen will then suck the host into the hosts computer. The host will bodyless and mindless, and feel excess amounts of [REDACTED].

After 2 months the hosts loved ones will begin to forget about the host, not knowing their facial and body features. After 5 months, loves ones won't be able to recollect any memories about the host and will forget the hosts name. After 13 months, loved ones and friends will lose all memory about the host. The host will then be lost in time and will be forgotten. Past photos, videos, or texts of the hosts name or face will be changed to a picture of [REDACTED] to the person who sees the photo or text, which will make them want to kill themselves. People that have successfully killed themselves will then be forgotten as well and will endure the same process as the host. The Specimen is thought to gain knowledge about the human race for each host it kills.

Research by the SCP Foundation has shown that the Specimen will adapt to different anti-viruses, and will adapt to new technology, able to infect iPhones, Tablets and other devices. The virus will search the internet and target more popular people, allowing their pictures and videos to be shown to millions of people. Ten years after the person has been fully forgotten, will come back as a mindless entity, with one goal of killing the hosts remaining relatives.

A relative of the host [REDACTED] had surived an incident with the host. The relative was put into metal rehabilitation for 13 years before being released. "I was just taking a nap while my husband was at work, and my two kids at school when I heard a bang on the door, I paused for a moment, and a few seconds later, there was a constant loud banging at the door. I just waited, silently, until it stopped. I thought it had left, so I went downstairs into the living room and saw someone, standing in front of the door, standing still, with cold white eyes, it was holding a baseball bat that it had grabbed in front of the door. I quickly, ran back upstairs to my husbands gun drawer and grabbed the gun, I slowly went downstairs, and saw it, still standing there. I took aim and shot it straight in the head, then fainted onto the ground. My husband came home to me fainted on the ground and a dead body, he called the police and tried to wake me up he said. The police officers then interviewed me, and said that I wasn't acting right, and was acting delusional." Close relatives and friends of hers has said that she was never the same, and that she has been very quiet, never talking to anyone and only mumbling to herself.
