Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in the refrigerator in the on-site kitchen of Site-76. Removal from the refrigerator is acceptable while testing SCP-XXXX. Care should be made while testing SCP-XXXX as to not combine it with substances which would make a poor flavor combination.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 16 oz. jar of Jif brand peanut butter. It appeared one day with a note attached that said "Here's a present for all the hard work." After replacing the lid, putting SCP-XXXX back in the refrigerator, and closing the door will cause SCP-XXXX to refill itself.

Attempting to remove SCP-XXXX from the kitchen area will cause it to vanish and reappear in the refrigerator. Placing non-peanut butter objects inside SCP-XXXX, replacing it in the refrigerator, and closing the door will cause the object to vanish until the door is opened two times. Object will have a note attached stating "This isn't peanut butter." Refilling SCP-XXXX with any peanut butter will instantly change the contents of SCP-XXXX to the closest variety of Jif brand peanut butter to the new peanut butter. Labeling of SCP-XXXX will change to match this new peanut butter.

[A few experiments will be here that document this process. For example a camera is placed inside the fridge and watches SCP-XXXX appear after removal from the kitchen. A gps tracker is placed inside SCP-XXXX and reveals that the tracker never left the fridge, even though it disappeared. The branding changing to experimental varieties or varieties that will be released in the future. A video camera placed in SCP-XXXX and the recording shows the inside of the jar, then the inside of the fridge with a few frames of some unknown location.]

SCP-XXXX can only be used for culinary purposes. Attempts to use SCP-XXXX for non-culinary purposes will cause SCP-XXXX to dissolve and reappear in the refrigerator. Additionally using SCP-XXXX for culinary purposes that is subjectively distasteful to the user will cause the food item to combust and turn to ash.

[Insert testing of various dishes that include peanut butter, some ick dishes that involve peanut butter, and the response of SCP-XXXX to the dish. For fun I could make some of the dishes irl and try them and see what "SCP-XXXX" would do to them.]
