Object Class: Euclid (Temporary designation.)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be kept in a standard containment locker at Site - 14. Following event X-A (see addendum X-1 for details) SCP-X is to be kept in a standard containment locker at Quarantine Site - 4 pending cessation of the standard quarantine time-frame. Should Dr. ██████ be located, he is to be detained pending debrief, and Site Director ████████ be informed immediately. Special Containment procedures subject to change pending debrief of Dr. ██████. Testing of SCP-X is discontinued until further notice. Site Director ██████.
Description: SCP-X is a crudely constructed sword, with a blade measuring roughly 97cm and hilt measuring roughly 26cm. The blade is constructed from what appears to be a single piece of flint (pending further study) and is currently understood to be indestructible. The hilt is made from cast bronze with several ancient runic symbols (awaiting translation,) believed to be of proto-indo-european origin.
SCP-X exhibits an anomalous effect on any geological material brought within 9.7m of SCP-X will begin to vibrate through unknown means. The effect appears to increase with proximity to SCP-X with distant objects vibrating at roughly 0.5Hz and several objects vibrating to the point of structural failure and even ignition in close proximity to SCP-X. (See addendum X-2 for test logs.)
Addendum X-1: Incident Report X-A On ██/██/████ while conducting preliminary experiments on SCP-X Dr. ██████ disappeared from Site - 14 between the hours of ██:██ and ██:██. Upon examination of Dr. ██████'s office no obvious reasons for this event has been identified. Attempts to recreate the incident has not yielded any results.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be contained within the geometric centre of a 15m x 15m x 15m Containment Cell, with a 5m radius circle painted around SCP-x, in Unit-X at Site-██. Video surveillance must be monitored at all times, any anomalous effects must be recorded and reported to Dr. Barhoon. 2 armed security officers must be stationed at the entrance to the Containment Cell at all times. A 50m x 50m x 50m red zone is to be established around the the cell containing SCP-X, no Level 4 or higher personnel are allowed within the red zone. If an X-Carotid event occurs Security Officers are to evacuate and enforce the red zone with lethal force if necessary. SCP-X must be "fed" one live, 10-12kg mammal once a week via an remote controlled actuator, no personnel are to be inside the containment cell during "feeding." All experiments involving SCP-X must be approved by Dr. Barhoon and a 3 day warning put in effect. Staff researching and in close proximity to SCP-X must undergo regular monthly psychological evaluation. Security staff are to run quarterly evacuation drills.
Description: SCP-X is a stone carving of a human heart impaled on 3 spits. The statue is approximately 2.4m tall and 0.7m by 0.7m at the base, the heart has an average radius of 0.6m. SCP-X is constructed out of dark grey, rough, carved stoned. SCP-X has currently proven impossible to damage so material analysis is impossible.
Note: One of SCP-X's anomalous properties is that it cannot be accurately measured or photographed. So this is as accurate as we're gonna be able to get. Dr. Barhoon.
SCP-X displays several anomalous properties; primarily all mammals that approach within a 5m radius of SCP-X will have their hearts violently removed from their chest and pulled into one of the four openings of SCP-X corresponding to the four blood vessels connected to the heart, pulling the heart through any obstacles between the animal and SCP-X. Once this has occurred the sphere of influence of this effect will increase in proportion to the mass of the animal. This made initial containment of the object difficult and the consequences of a run away reaction abundantly clear, so the containment procedures have designed to prevent this. SCP-X has also shown signs of sentience as if SCP-X fails to "feed" for 3 days it will attempt to entice prey to enter it's sphere of influence by employing several strategies. For a list of reported strategies see addendum X-C. However if SCP-X fails to "feed" for 39 days it will trigger an X-Femoral event. During an X-Femoral event SCP-X will increase its sphere of influence in the direction of the nearest living mammal until SCP-X's primary effect takes place.
