Random deck
Class: safe
Special containment Procedures:
Due to the age of this SCP, it is an artifact and should be kept in a glass case with a well monitored humidity level. It is not to be removed at any time for purposes other than testing, and all staff transporting the SCP are to wear specially designed gloves too thick to get inside the slit in the sack. All staff observing the experiment must maintain an eye level of four inches above the highest part of the bag, with no exceptions.
Description:
The Random deck is a standard deck of cards of somewhat unknown origin. The Primary SCP (Henceforth part A) is a wool bag weaved around a standard pack of cards. It measures 6" x 4" x 3", and the cards inside measure 3.5" x 2.5" x 2 mm. Even Though it is wool, it has been hardened, and processes have determined this is via some form of fabric glue. The SCP has the date 1699 inked into the bottom left corner of the front side, and in the middle of the same side is the word "zufällig", which has been Identified as the creator's last name. Inside of the wool sack are the standard 52 cards, but with the exception of the jokers, all of the cards depict kings dying in various ways, and on the back there is an ink pattern of Alfred Zufällig saying the word with the card pressed to his lips.
Neural scanning indicates that any victim who sees the lip pattern will immediately start trying to attain the fate depicted on the card (note: only those who can speak German are affected.) Cards are placed back in the sack (subconsciously, albeit) by victims after seeing the message, and thus it is impossible to figure out all of the fates listed in any way other than drawing them all at once, and we still wouldn't know if we got them all. Transcripts of tests with the deck have shown that all who see the back of the card feel that the "soul" of Zufällig is present within the deck, and some have had conversations with it, even going so far as to talking with him about his goals with the deck. Tests involving more than one d-class personnel have shown that Zufällig is remorseful for each death his cards are responsible for.

Translated from German
"Mister Zufällig, why did you create these cards?"
(no response recorded)
"Oh, you're a philosopher? isn't that an odd thing to do with your life at such a point in time, but still, why?"
"D-31821, Please tell us his response."
"He says the German emperor had him discredited."
"Noted, please continue with the interview."
"Was the deck meant for him?"
"He says it was meant to be Zufällig's final revenge."
(D-31821 suffers a heart attack)
"The card has taken effect on D-31821, send in another subject and add heart attack to the roster."
"This thing still on?"
