Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently being stored in Dr.███████'s office at site-11. SCP-XXXX is to be daily fed any liquid between 10ºC and 40ºC. After Incident-XXXX-1, no solid matter should be fed to SCP-XXXX, escpecially living human tissue. Because of SCP-XXXX's nature, no means of surveillance are required.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a supposedly sentient 28 cm x 28 cm x 28 cm cube made out of an unknown steel-like alloy, weighing around 14kg. One of the sides of SCP-XXXX contains a 23 cm x 23 cm LED screen where certain images are exhibited. Another side of SCP-XXXX contains a small circular hole with a diameter of 22.3 mm (around a size 13 ring), presumed to be around 25cm in depth. When SCP-XXXX is not presented with a liquid for 24 hours, it will display a text in the LED screen, written "Please Insert Beverage", coupled with symbols resembling a saddened face¹. When such images are displayed, all personnel level 1 or higher are advised to pour any liquid into the small hole present in SCP-XXXX untill a symbol resembling a happy face is shown².

If SCP-XXXX is not fed any liquids for 36 hours, it will change the display to an angered face³. Any further neglection will lead to it presumably shutting down until liquid is poured. Certain liquids can cause different results when poured into SCP-XXXX (see test logs A - E).

Test A - ██/██/2009

Subject: D-6554
Procedure: D-6554, accompanied with two Level 2 personnel, poured liquid mercury at a temperature of 36ºC into SCP-XXXX
Results: Small electric sparks started to come out of SCP-XXXX and 2 minutes after the liquid mercury was poured, SCP-XXXX expelled it out at high velocity, showing a saddened face in its LED screen.
Analysis: Liquid mercury (and to that extent any liquid metal) is not a suitable liquid for SCP-XXXX. No further tests involving SCP-XXXX should take place in Dr.███████'s office

Test B - ██/██/2009

Subject: D-6921
Procedure: D-6921, accompanied with two Level 2 personnel, poured ██████ brand disinfectant into SCP-XXXX.
Results: SCP-XXXX projected text in its LED screen, written: "cleaning up", while small quantities of white smoke came out of it. A minute after the liquid was poured, SCP-XXXX changed the text to "done" and returned to its regular state.
Analysis: It seems like SCP-XXXX treats liquids depending on how they're used by us humans and not on their chemical composition.
