Description: SCP-#### is a standard-size Cheshire & Wain brand green breakaway cat collar, with an anodized titanium buckle, and a blank stainless steel hexagonal name tag. Any cat domestic animal capable of comfortably and securely wearing SCP-#### around their neck, which has been allowed at least 1 hour of undisturbed sleep will be designated an instance of SCP-####-1. Any attempts thus far to cause physical harm to the SCP-####-1 instance have been unsuccessful, as doing so triggers a time loop, reverting events to when the SCP-####-1 woke up from it's most recent sleep of at least one hour.
[This wording seems better than before, but it still doesn't seem clinical yet. Will read some more SCPs about dreams, time, and recordings for inspiration.]
[Also I probably need explain why the researchers know it's a time loop, hopefully without a mcguffin. Maybe I can rework it so it doesn't mention time loops though, it's not that important of a detail.]

[I'm not sure what to do about unavoidable situations, like a bomb set to detonate once they wake up. Perhaps lowering Hume levels in the area each time they fail to escape, thus making every attempt more likely since less realistic methods can be used. Then again that would probably call for a higher disruption class and clearance level. I may just say that permission to try something like that is denied. Hopefully that isn't considered bad writing.]
[General idea: when something hurts an animal wearing it, it turns the events between it waking up and it getting hurt into a dream. Made by a reality bender that who owned a lot of cats that died from eating poisonous plants and being ran over, so they modified a fancy collar that makes sure the cat lives for as long as naturally possible.]
