Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be under constant video surveillance at all times. No personnel are permitted to enter within 400 meters of the SCP without expressed authorization from REDACTED. All camera and audio equipment must be checked by two teams of 5 bi-weekly. Any and all unauthorized attempts to enter the danger zone of SCP-XXXX will be met with REDACTED. If any person comes into this zone without proper safety equipment, they must be admitted into psychiatric therapy within 9 hours of exposure. Any objects taken from SCP-XXXX are to be atomized ASAP.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Victorian-Era home located in REDACTED , England. The abode contains 13 rooms in total, with a garden in the backyard. It houses 3 bathrooms, 1 living room, 3 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom, 1 kitchen, a wine cellar, an observatory, and 1 study. Each of these rooms vary in quality and degradation with the kitchen being the most intact, and the master bedroom being completely covered in a rustic substance. Many tests have been made to understand the chemical makeup of this material, yielding few answers. This substance is to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-A.
SCP-XXXX has shown to have many instances of Temporal, Spacial, and Biological anomalies. After a D-Class had grabbed bottles in the cellar during a test on DATA EXPUNGED, contact had been completely cut off. Rescue teams entered the building but found no trace of life. Several weeks later the subject was found in Site-UNAUTHORIZED CLEARANCE in a manic state. The subject had shown signs of age, presumed to have been 40 years older by the chemical change in the body. When questioned about how they had entered the site, they had described to haven't moved at all. The subject described exiting the building only to find that all light had vanished, except from SCP-XXXX. Sounds of metallic scraping and chains whipping were recorded in the microphone of the subject before the battery died. They had explained how they felt no hunger or thirst, but had an overwhelming sense of looming dread. When asked why, the subject simply replied that they didn't know. Several similar cases had arised after this event. After documenting the accounts of the subjects that had vanished, a clear synopsis was created. During daylight hours, one may be subjected to the effects of SCP-XXXX if within 100 meters of the home. The person(s) will black out, and seemingly vanish. All footage of this event seems to corrupt upon this effect. Any human witnessing the victim blacking out in person will also be subject to the effects. After waking up, the victim(s) will be in a realm outside of time and space for an indefinite amount of time. What may be days could feel like years, or vice-versa. After arriving back in our world, the victim will be placed at random on Earth.
Inside this dark world, there are several recorded creatures that have been observed by Class-D personal. The stories of these creatures indicates that there are 3 distinct species living in this realm. One is described to be dog-like in appearance, and is very common according to witnesses. This shall be classed as SCP-XXXX-1. Another creature is told to be a mass of barbed wire that slowly moved itself across the ground. This will be designated as SCP-XXXX-2. The last being told by witnesses is described as very human-like, with a bone mask covering it's face. This will be called SCP-XXXX-3.
SCP-XXXX-A is a rustic material with a chemical make-up resembling sulfuric acid and biological waste. Tests have shown that SCP-XXXX-A is a species of plant despite the conflicting chemicals inside it. When exposed to wet or cold environments it tends to lay dormant and harmless. When exposed to dry weather or high temperature, SCP-XXXX-A will start to awake and spread at alarming rates. During a test at Site-REDACTED on REDACTED, a Class-D was exposed to a pen that had traces of SCP-XXXX-A on it. As soon as the temperature was raised to 45° Celsius, the material rapidly began to envelop the subjects body. In 10 minutes, the surface of the body was completely covered. Mortuary staff, with assistance from trusted personnel, performed an autopsy on the body within a stable temperature zone. The inside of the corpse was infested with egg-like sacks and lathered in a black liquid. Within the lungs and heart were holes and torn flesh, suggesting that SCP-XXXX-A consumes on tissues within the body. The sacks found within the lungs and heart had been seen bursting open while disposing of the corpse, causing those in the vicinity to be killed instantly. Corpses of these people are seen with traces of the SCP-XXXX-A in its 'adult' state. No calendar for maturity exists at this time. Any traces of this substance found outside of the initial area of SCP-XXXX must be atomized with nuclear equipment.
SCP-XXXX-1 is told to be 9 feet long and 4 feet wide, with 4 legs that are 6 feet in height. The skin of this creature is baggy, like old leather. It has a blue tint to it, with orange spots all on its spine. The mouth is more like a crocodile with razor-like teeth. The sounds it emits are akin to bones snapping, and makes said sound often. When asked how the D-Class had survived the beast, they tell that the creature is docile when near the light. But as soon as it leaves any light, it acts like a feral monster and lashes at anything it hears. Due to the lack of sunlight in that world, it is assumed to have no eyes. According to several Class-D, this animal is a very common nuisance in the other world.
SCP-XXXX-2 is the only instance of the creatures found in the dark world that has crossed over into our world. The instance that was found was discovered by REDACTED at a military base on Friday REDACTED, 1997. After recovering the creature it was heavily documented by SCP researchers. SCP-XXXX-2 is a 40 feet tall and 40 feet wide ball of barbed wire and chains. All attempts to dig under the surface of SCP0-XXXX-2 has failed. When put into a lit room with 6 D-Class test subjects, it had shown no reaction. When the lights were turned off, all but 2 of the subjects had been eviscerated. The corpses of the terminated subjects dangled off of the wiring that coated SCP-XXXX-2 and were unrecognizable. When questioned, the surviving D-Class noted that they had not seen nor heard anything happen. Assuming they were telling the truth, it is assumed that SCP-XXXX-2 can attack prey at REDACTED miles per hour. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be contained in a facility with reinforced steel plating and to have UV Lights on inside at all times.
SCP-XXXX-3 has only 4 recorded sightings by subjects that visited the other world. In questioning, all four gave very similar stories. SCP-XXXX-3 is 8'4 feet tall with yellow skin. The face is covered fully in a mask that resembles a human skull with blood in the sockets. SCP-XXXX-3 is said to wear no clothing except for large boots. It wields a rusted iron pipe, which it used to smash the skull of one of the D-Class that left the home in the other world. The corpse of this victim was recorded to be found in the floorboards of a nursery home in REDACTED, USA. It is recommended not to engage with SCP-XXXX-3 if possible.
