Special Containment Procedures: A normal locked briefcase with a singular lock and key owned by [REDACTED]
Description: SCP-5578 is your average stick. One yard in length (0.9144 meters) and 2 inches (5.08 centimeters) in width. The stick in question was contained from [Redacted] on the date of [Redacted]. The stick featured an anomalous ability to gain the abilities of any object the user desires without changing the form, weight, or mass of the stick in question. SCP-5578 has the bark ripped off and seems to have been sanded. It also has the name Cameron etched on the side of it.
The foundation was informed about SCP-5578 when we intercepted police scanners and radio broadcasts of anomalies coming from the backyard of the address [Redacted]. The foundation sent a field team of agents to see what all the commotion was about, only to discover that a child was playing with SCP-5578 in their backyard. As they tried to contain the stick from the child in question, they were attacked by the child who was not willing to cooperate (I don't blame them, who would want to give up such an awesome toy?). Two agents came back with slash wounds and burns while another came back with a bullet hole in their arm. Despite the harm that was caused by the child, it could have been much worse if fallen into the wrong hands.
Tests with SCP-5578 were conducted and still are today. With more and more advancement in technology and with other anomalous objects we find, I do not believe testing will ever be completed on SCP-6000. We also use SCP-6000 for testing on other SCP and anomalous objects. One of which is SCP-445 (Dr. Wondertainment's Super Paper) which displayed interesting results that are written below.

Gun: When thinking about a gun while holding SCP-5578, bullets can be fired from the bottom or end of the stick. When thinking about certain types of firearms, the type of bullet and speed of said bullets can be changed.
Sword:When pretending SCP-5578 is a sword, it can act as a blade and protect the user from other blades. The user of the SCP also has an increased athleticism and knowledge of sword fighting. We also tested It against SCP-445 while also in its dagger form. When the two objects clashed against each other, it made a metal clank sound as if they were two actual swords.
walking stick: When using SCP-5578 as a walking stick, it can increase the average walking speed of the user by 96%.
Wand/wizard's staff: When using it as a magic wand/staff, the user can cast any magical spell in the user's imagination. There are no limits to how powerful, or how stupid.

Writing utensil: As a writing utensil, SCP-5578 can be used to draw on any surface, from paper, to lines in the dirt. When the user lets go of the stick however, the writing will disappear.
Spear: As a spear, it can be used to pierce objects from wood, to solid steel. Testing also shows that it could even pierce Graphene. more testing is needed.
Torch: As a torch, a bright light comes from the top of the Stick. it can light up a radius of 25 feet around the person.
Addendum: Other info
SCP-5578 is a dangerous anomaly that should not be ignored when reviewing. It is to be kept in a safe location at all times. If fallen into the wrong hands, this object could be dangerous to all of civilization. In the events of a breach or attack, SCP-6000 could be used as a very useful weapon. It should still be kept under lock and key in any other circumstances.
Note: this object, besides being incredibly dangerous, is classified as safe. It is very easy to keep locked up and only one man has the key to SCP-5578. So, it is in safe hands
