SCP- 7111 >Glass Bowl

Item #: SCP-7111

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-7111 is to be kept in a small padded cube box (14in x 12in x 14in) to prevent it from breaking. Every three days it must be taken out and moved to one of the three rooms it is contained in. It will then be put back into a box and stay there for the next three days before the moving process is redone. The process requires 3 D- Class personal and intense focus. One personal will hold the bowl as carefully possible and the other two will hold their hands under the others to catch the bowl if it is to slip from their hands.

Description: SCP-7111 is a glass bowl of fragile glass shards with rounded edges glued together by an unknown substance. Holding the bowl is an extremely hard task as it is usually slippery and is prone to being dropped and consequently shattering. The bowl when stationary will start to vibrate, much like a singing bowl. It radiates a high frequency hum and gets louder with time even shaking the room around it if it gets loud enough. Thus why it needs to be moved to a different room every 3 days. When the bowl is dropped it emits a sound much like millions of glass bottles clattering and shattering together. The sound was measured to be 145 decibels loud and causes immense pain and possible hearing loss to those around it. The bowl's psychical state when it falls is shattered into millions of small glass shards and splinters. In about 30 to 60 minutes the bowl will have reformed due to the glue's peculiar characteristic of always coming back to shape. There have been tests to try to identify or replicate the glue substance but so far it has been fruitless and SCP-7111 is hard to experiment on due to it's fragility.
