Item #: SCP-████

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:

Description: SCP-████ is a set of seven (7) unbranded cassette tapes, here on referred to as SCP-████-1 through SCP-████-7, contained within a painted cardboard box. Removal of paint has revealed that the box is that of a pair of Sketchers Flex Fit shoes. This box appears to have no affect on SCP-████ anomalous properties. Each of the tapes has a number etched into its front face, believed to refer to the order in which they were created.

Each cassette tape holds a recording of a song, each song being different than the other six tapes in the set. Although different, each song includes several string instruments and one flute. Other instruments, such as percussion and horns, vary between each song. All anomalous properties seem to be tied to the flute and when it enters the music.

SCP-████-1 contains only two string instruments, believed to be violins, and the flute. When listened to, the listener begins to fall into a deep sleep. Approximately 30 seconds into the song, the listener falls into a comatose-state, ceasing all motor functions. Soon after this event takes place, the body of the listener rises from where it had previously been and begins to dance in synchronization with the flute. The style and skill of the dance varies depending on the subject in question. After the song ends, the listener wakes from the comatose state, having no recollection of the previous events.
