Item:SCP-8293
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All reported instances of SCP-8293-2 are to be destroyed. Only 10 versions of SCP-8293-2 are to be kept in containment for research purposes at any given time. Should one of those 10 instances get destroyed the next reported instance of SCP-8293-2 is to be recovered and contained. All recovered incidents of SCP-8293-2 are to be contained in the High-Security-Vault of site 81. (Locker Number: 41 Code:██████) Any reported instances of SCP-8293-1 are to be terminated immediately. The destructions/recoveries of any SCP-8293-2 instances are to be performed by unmanned drones capable of recognizing instances of SCP-8293-2 (through means of altered face recognition software) and destroying/recovering them.
Description:SCP-8293 is some sort of fractal carved into a piece of yet to be identified wood, measuring 2 m high, 2 m long and 6 cm thick. Any person that gains knowledge of what SCP-8293 or SCP-8293-2 look like, rather through visual contact (Does not have do be direct visual contact for SCP-8293 to take effect.) or a description of SCP-8293 that is enough for the subject to imagine what SCP-8293 looks like suddenly feel the uncontrollable desire to draw a picture of SCP-8293. Due to the nature of fractals, SCP-8293-1 instances are unable to complete their drawing of SCP-8293. These drawings of SCP-8293 are to be referred to as SCP-8293-2. SCP-8293-2 instances seem to have the same qualities as SCP-8293. People affected by SCP-8293 are to be referred to as SCP-8293-1. Instances of SCP-8293-1 will start drawing a picture, most likely resembling SCP-8293 as soon as they are affected. If no drawing materials are in the direct vicinity of the SCP-8293-1 instance it will rip out one of their own teeth and will use it to slash into their own skin in and around the chest, "drawing" SCP-8293 onto themselves. This happens every time even if the subject is offered alternatives to cut their own skin. (Blades, Glass shards, etc. When a tattoo gun was offered the subject broke it and smeared the ink from inside of it onto the floor. After about 3 minutes of drawing the subject will start to mumble to themselves. Over time they will get louder and after about 11 minutes they will repeatedly yell out a description of SCP-8293. Besides the description of SCP-8293, the subject will stop all communication and will not react to any form of interaction, besides any attempts to restrict it from drawing. If the subject gets, in some way, restricted from drawing SCP8293-2 it will start to shake violently. After about 4 minutes of restriction, the subject will start to cry, spit, vomit and, if in any way wounded, bleed a brown liquid, which is highly corrosive. The liquid is to be referred to as SCP-8293-3. SCP-8293-3 will seek out what is restraining SCP-8293-1 to take effect and will flow to that point, even against gravity. Though SCP-8294-3 is not capable of flying/floating, it is able to reach a remotely controlled drone that is restricting the subject, by flowing up the wall, on the ceiling and then drop onto the Drone. The subject affected by SCP-8293-1 will continue to draw SCP-8293-2 until it dies from exhaustion, blood loss or by other means.
