Description: The Wings of Anu (a.k.a; Sumerian Wings,or "Angel Wings") is an apparatus, or artifact, of unknown origin. The wings appear to have been constructed with an unknown metal, one that does not fall on our current periodic table. It weighs 2.6 kg (5.7 lbs), the body of the artifact is 91.44 cm (3 ft) in length, and has two sets of wings. The top set has a wingspan of 198.12 cm (6.5 ft, and the bottom set has a wingspan of 106.68 cm (3.5 ft). Upon further research, the joints of the wings are fully functional. However, they do not hold a collapsed state for too long. After about 3 minutes, the wings slowly revert back to their extended state.
On the back of the artifact, there 36 holes, divided into pairs of two, that line the posterior side of artifact. Each hole is is 1 cm in diameter, though purpose of the holes are unclear, though there are speculations as to what their function could be. A common test with the artifact is having a D-Class turn its back to the posterior side of the artifact. The holes will illuminate a yellow light on the D-Class's back. The light will illuminate for a total of 45 seconds, which the holes will flash red for 5 seconds, then the holes will cease to illuminate. So far, there has been [REDACTED] tests recorded, all of which end in the same manner.
It has been concluded that the artifact is deemed Safe, until other testing is proved otherwise.
Additional Notes: The artifact was discovered during an archaeological [REDACTED], Iraq. An 18[REDACTED] dig team lead by Dr. Howard [REDACTED], discovered a ziggurat about [REDACTED] miles from [REDACTED]. After four days of excavating the temple, Dr. Howard found an altar room, dedicated to the god Anu, with the wings displayed in the center. As the team went to pose in front of their discovery for the camera, the wings lit up once Dr. Howard turned his back to it. The team panicked when the yellow light illuminated the doctor's back, some of the hired locals believed it was a curse from the gods. The Foundation revived word about the discovery of the "Angel Wings", and mobilized their own archeological team to receive and transport the artifact back to the Foundation for further testing and observation.
