Special Containment Procedure: Because of its anomalous nature, SCP-XXXX currently cannot be contained. Guard posts must be placed around the perimeter of [REDACTED] where SCP-XXXX is located.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a parade band that marches through five neighboring towns of [REDACTED]. Individual members of the band are all referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. No human beings have survived after seeing SCP-XXXX but it is believed that an individual SCP-XXXX-1 is a humanoid giant standing at 3 meters of height. SCP-XXXX is known to play bass drums and banging of metal during its march (the exact instruments used are still unknown). Residents of [REDACTED] who hear the band's parade also hear sounds of chains being dragged. The band's path is through the streets of [REDACTED] and travels the same path, always starting from ███ ██████ to ███████.
SCP-XXXX's date and time of arrival is indeterminate and only indicated when distant sounds of drums and banging of metals are heard in the area. It is still unknown where SCP-XXXX comes from right before arrival. The band creates a minor earthquake when marching that can be felt inside houses nearby the parade, although it could be caused by small groups of scattered SCP-XXXX-1 crawling through roofs and walls of houses. SCP-XXXX only plays one distinct music. Once SCP-XXXX exits the last town, their music fades slowly then completely. As with its arrival, it is still unknown where SCP-XXXX travels to once done marching from [REDACTED]. The band's parade lasts for about 3 minutes.
If SCP-XXXX sees a human person, individual SCP-XXXX-1 will mutilate said person. If the person is hiding from a house or any structure, groups of SCP-XXXX-1 will attack the structure and kill its inhabitants. SCP-XXXX can detect being watched, and will attack whoever does so. All of these also applies to animals and video-recording devices. The band's march can only be seen in the area of [REDACTED] but their sounds can be heard from up to 2 kilometers away from the perimeter of the affected residencies.
Aftermath of the band's march show that the band is able to destroy concrete structures, although in what manner is not yet known. Obstruction in the SCP-XXXX's path such as vehicles are discovered to be completely destroyed.
