SCP-6123-2. Note the severe image distortion.

Special Containment Procedures: The area around SCP-6123 is currently guarded by one battalion of attack fighters and two battalions of stealth fighters on standby, with two SCPF Destroyers assigned to patrol the area around SCP-6123 at all times. The anomaly itself has to the public been explained as a gas pocket containing dense helium. Should anyone enter SCP-6123, they are to be considered M.I.A. Should any civilian enter SCP-6123, cover up stories should be fabricated to indicate that they attempted to travel through this dense gas pocket and expired.

SCP-6123.

Description: SCP-6123 is a temporal and gravitational anomaly located approximately 21 lightyears from the Fjorn supercluster. The anomaly itself is vaguely spherical, with a diameter of approximately 0.3 lightyears. SCP-6123 appears as a pure black void to the naked eye, even appearing to obscure stars and other celestial bodies behind it.

SCP-6123 is affected by gross inverted mag. 9 time dilation. Due to this gross time dilation, parts of SCP-6123 are currently still undergoing the early stages of the “Big Bang”. This time dilation is theorized to be caused by an extremely high concentration of Exotic C (more commonly known as E-C) or other similar exotic matter. This, however, doesn’t account for the fact that it seems as if traditional laws of physics such as gravity weren’t a factor prior to the “Big Bang”. This implies that this time dilation has another cause.

SCP-6123-1 and SCP-6123-2 were two "Pattern Screamer'' entities which previously existed within SCP-6123. These anomalies most likely used the dilated time within SCP-6123 to avoid what "pattern screamers" usually describe as the "pattern". Due to the extreme time dilation within SCP-6123, the "pattern" most likely hasn't taken full effect yet.

SCP-6123-1 had prior to it's destruction inhabited a pile of gravel taken from LK-324, a planet in the Oregon system, which it used to form a humanoid shape. SCP-6123-1 was capable of direct verbal communication which it performed through banging the individual rocks it was composed of together to produce sound. SCP-6123-1 was also capable of flight, including interplanetary and interstellar travel.

Sometime prior to it's destruction, SCP-6123-2 had exited SCP-6123 assuming the form of a star. In this form, it was sentient, but unable to communicate with human persons, and it's communications were unable to be recorded using traditional recording instruments. SCP-6123's precence would gradually deteriorate general mental health and impulse control in those within it's surrounding solar system. This is theorized to be caused by the information and idea-based nature of “Pattern Screamers”, as this may have meant that ideas and emotions held by SCP-6123-2 would “leak” into being within the surrounding solar system. Recording quality in traditional electronic recording devices would also gradually deteriorate in the presence of SCP-6123-2. SCP-6123-2 was an extremely unstable star, prone to frequent and deadly flares and gamma ray bursts.

FILESERV NOTICE:

SOME OF THE FOLLOWING ADDENDA REFER TO SCP-6123-2 AS
"UA-257-ASOF" DUE TO IT'S PRIOR CLASSIFICATION AS AN
UNDOCUMENTED ANOMALY OR UA. SOME INCONSISTENCIES MAY PERSIST.

Addendum 6123.1: Relevant Unity Interstellar Occult Coalition documentation.1

Addendum 6123.2: Logs of videos recovered from a personal recording device belonging to Adam Chang, part of the crew of the YM Sisyphos, who initially discovered SCP-6123-2.

Addendum 6123.3: Interviews with SCP-6123-1.

Addendum 6123.4: SCP Foundation was given full blackbox information and videos regarding UA-257-ASOF by Yang-Miller corporation, as it had resulted in the deaths of one of their exploration crews. A joint operation to investigate UA-257-ASOF was proposed to the UIOC, as they had been of help in the gathering of information regarding SCP-6123-1, but the UIOC denied this proposal.

Below are exploration logs relevant to UA-257-ASOF.
