Item#: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-XXXX must be kept in a containment cabinet located near the Food Sector on Site 66. Withdraw of up to three units from within SCP-XXXX is permitted for Foundation employees from level 2 onwards.
At least once every two months, one unit from SCP-XXXX must be withdrawn and properly consumed by any Site Staff. Personel that took units from SCP-XXXX are to be carefully watched by other staff. If any unit is lost before being properly consumed, the food sector area must be isolated, and the unit must be found within ten minutes. After the unit is recovered, it must be incinerated.
In the event of the appearance of SCP-XXXX-1, the Site must be put in Lockdown mode, and all employees must locate the lost item as soon as possible, for it to be properly neutralized. Any animals or humans under the effects of SCP-XXXX must be neutralized.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a package from no discernible brand, wich contains 16 units resembling cookies. The units inside SCP-XXXX are made from a mixture of cocoa, strawberry, traces of wheat and unknown organic material similar to red meat. DNA testings done on the material reveal traces of Bos taurus, Sus scrofa, Pan paniscus and Homo sapiens genes. Despite the compositon, they are edible, and are described to have addictive taste, but unusual odor, similar to that of sunflower seeds mixed with chocolate and vanilla.
SCP-XXXX replenishes itself with new units every thirty days, if left untouched. However, if any of the units are removed from SCP-XXXX, it will refill two hours later and seal itself, returning to a fresh state.
If any of the units from SCP-XXXX are left outside it for a period of time greater than ten minutes, or if they are not fully consumed, they will begin to attract animals to itself, within an initial radius of 30 meters. It will grow 30 additional meters every minute. In the initial states, small animals such as insects and small mammals will be attracted to the unit (from this state designated as SCP-XXXX-1), and as the radius of influence grows, larger animals will be attracted as well. Similar effects occur if SCP-XXXX is left untouched for more than two months. In that scenario, the initial radius of influence is 3 kilometers, and it grows exponentially every minute. Humans can be affected after 2 hours of exposure to both of the instances.
Animals under the effects of SCP-XXXX behave agressively, with rabies like behavior, and attack any unaffected individuals on sight. They commonly travel towards the progenitor of the effect, either SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-1. When the font is on sight, all affected individuals will attack each other until only one is left alive. The survivor will then consume SCP-XXXX-1 or one unit of SCP-XXXX. The animal then will turn back into their natural behavior and SCP-XXXX will return to it's neutral state.
Mission Details: Investigate the increasing number of disappearances of animals and humans heading in the direction of an abandoned treat factory in █████████, Brazil.
Personel: MTF Csi-12 ("Idiot Sandwiches")
Additional Information:All members of MTF Csi-12 personel are equiped with standard exploration gear, recording equipment and M16 assault rifles. No additional equipment was deemed necessary. Doctor Marvin Supervised from base Camp. The area arround the Factory is being monitored by Drones and additional field agents.

Csi-1: Check.
Csi-2: Check.
Csi-3: Check.
Csi-1: Alright everyone. Our objective is right ahead us, after the forest. Stay together, we still don't know what kind of cosmic horror lies ahead.
Csi-3: Can't be much, since they only sent us three. I mean, it's still a big deal, enough to send an MTF.
All members head in the direction of the abandoned factory through the forest. Through the way, broken tree branches, blood and small animal corpses are seen, and the smell of rotting flesh gets more intense. Few injuried rodents can be seen limping in the direction of the factory.
Csi-2: This is some pretty admirable determination from these animals.
Csi-3: This is not determination, they are just… Influenced. Well, at least that's what i think.
A few moments pass by, and they finally reach the open fields. A few meters ahead of them, the factory stands. Trails of blood and mucus, rotting animal corpses of all sizes and agonizing animals are seen arround and in the factory, and above it, birds fought, several falling from the skies like rain. Blood covered the place like an scarlet storm. The MTF agents approach an injuried female human, covered in blood, with bite marks, scratches and chunks of flesh missing from her arms and legs. She is also missing one of her eyes, and several allergic reactions affects her whole body. Csi-1 knees in her side, and try to engage comunication.
Csi-1: Hello? Can you hear me?
█████: No Response, only heavy breathing. She turns her head to face Csi-1.
Csi-1: Can you speak?
█████: Y… e… s.
Csi-3: Should we put her out of her misery?
Csi-1: Quiet. We need some information, and she may know something.
Csi-1 turn arround to face the woman.
Csi-1: Can you say what happened and what made you come here?
█████: I… Don't know. I J… Just… Had to be… Here. Attacked… Maned…
The woman stopped speaking, and passed out. She would probably die from blood loss in a few minutes. The MTF team decided to proceed into the factory. More and more blood and corpses were found as they walked deeper into the factory. Several human bodies were found, along with human equipment, like knives and guns. Two corpses atracted more attention: an fight scene between an human farmer, with his throat missing a chunk of flesh and several scratches on his shoulders, and a Golden Lion Tamarin, with a knife embed in their torso, an chunk of flesh in their mouth and several injuries.
Csi-2: Well, that sure is something you don't see every day.
Csi-3: Did you forget where we work?
The team finally reach an huge chamber inside the factory. The chamber has a huge hole on the ceiling, from wich blood and birds rain on the corpse covered floor, painting the room red. The room was full of several animal corpses, ants, flying insects and a few dying chordates. Two still relatively healthy animals fought on the room, smashing several insects during the fight: an jaguar and an maned wolf. The MTF entered the chamber, atracting the attention of both Jaguar and Wolf, who interrupted their own fight to attack the team members.
Csi-1: Prepare to engage in combat!
Csi-3: I hope PETA forgive me for this.
Csi-2 was attacked by the jaguar, wich knocked her gun on the floor and restrained her beneath them. Csi-3 was the target of the maned wolf, and he didn't had difficulty in neutralizing his target. The wolf passed away with an headshot. Csi-1 was being distracted by an swarm of insects, that he killed using insecticide spray that was part of his exploration gear. Right before the jaguar bites Csi-2, Csi-3 shot them on the head, neutralizing the animal.
Csi-3: What the hell was that?
Csi-2: We can ask questions later. First let's just uncover what caused this.
The team starts investigating the factory chamber, as the bird blood rain stopped outside. They peek under the bodies and inside the conveyor belts and machines.
Csi-3: Guys, i think i've found something.
Csi-2: Wait right there, we're coming.
Inside one of the old machines, on a conveyor belt, lies an transparent package filled with stuffed cookies. Behind the package, an highly injuried marmoset crawls towards it, ripping it open and consuming one of the cookies.
Doctor Marvin: Field agents, do you copy?
Csi-1: Affirmative.
Doctor Marvin: It seems like the influx of animals towards the factory has stopped. Did you find the anomaly?
Csi-1: Yes, doctor. Looks like it's on an neutral state now. It's an cookie package, by the looks of things.
Doctor Marvin: Understood. We'll send more personel to clean up the mess and reach more conclusive results. Until then, keep an eye on the object for us.
Csi-1: Affirmative.

Mission Results: One hour after SCP-XXXX discovery, field agents analyzed the surrounding buildings and corpses in order to confirm any additional anomalous activity. The confirmation came when SCP-XXXX sealed itself and then refilled it's insides. After wich, the object was moved to containment Site 66, where it currently is contained.
Incident XXXX-01 occured in ██/██/1999, at 16:45 PM. D-69960 was allowed to take one unit from SCP-XXXX, acording to the old containment procedures. During the snack time, he consumed the unit, but one medium sized piece of the unit fell below the desk, and got forgotten for at least 40 minutes, after wich the janitors cleaned up the food sector.
Three hours passed. Several site staff began to act violent towards each other. Several insects infested the site, and part of it was put on lockdown. Due to the risk of containment breach from other anomalies, MTF Epsilon 11 "Nine Tailed Fox" was designed to regain control over Site 66, and help find and neutralize SCP-XXXX-1.

Epsilon-1: Check.
Epsilon-2: Check.
Epsilon-3: Check.
Epsilon-4: Check.
Epsilon-5: Check.
Epsilon-6: Check.
Epsilon-1: Be careful. Our mission is to incinerate all of the trash bins and containers of the Food Sector. All sightings of small animals roaming the Site tell that they were heading on that direction. Suppress all affected site staff with non lethal force. All affected animals must be neutralized.
The MTF team proceed to split up into three groups: Epsilon 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6. The first group headed directly to the cafeteria. The second focused on the halls. The third headed towards the dumping chamber.
On the halls, several humans and rats fought and tried to wander towards an specific location. Some rats were already dead, others agonizing, but few of the Site Staff were downed. Most who did, did because of venomous bites caused by scorpions and spiders. Epsilon-3 restrained and suppressed four personel, while Epsilon-4 neutralized arthropods and rodents. On the most quiet moments, they burned the trash bins on the halls, on the hopes that the flames would consume SCP-XXXX-1. The fire alarms and flame dispersion systems were deactivated from other parts of the Site.
The cafeteria was surprisingly empty, with few staff members and animals roaming towards the exit. Epsilon-2 restrained the foundation staff and neutralized the animals, while Epsilon-1 incinerated the trash bins and checked out on SCP-XXXX Containment locker. The object was sealed, on it's neutral state. Epsilon-1 then contacted the other team members.
Epsilon-1: Nothing on the cafeteria. All the bins were incinerated, to no effect.
Epsilon-4: Nothing on the hallways as well. There is still flux of affected individuals here.
Epsilon-5: That must mean we are close. We're on our way.
The third group checked all of the janitor's rooms and equipment before heading towards the dumping chamber. The dumping chamber is the place where all the common waste of the site is dumped and incinerated. All the toxic gas is then purified. The group found the place crowded with affected individuals, several animal corpses and a few human casualties. After suppressing the affected personel using gas, Epsilon-6 neutralized all the affected animals, while Epsilon-5 headed to the control room of the dumping chamber. There were no individuals inside the room, but the cameras showed a few personel fighting inside the chamber.
Epsilon-5: Six, i need that you enter the chamber. There are three personel inside. Two researchers and one janitor.
Epsilon-6: Affirmative.
Epsilon-6 entered the chamber. The three affected individuals were fighting using random stuff, like glass shards, knives and an mop. Epsilon-6 shot the knees of the three individuals, after wich he restrained them by suffocation. After rescuing the three personel, Epsilon-5 activated the incineration function of the chamber, effectively destroying all the waste inside.
Epsilon-5: Mission acomplished?
Epsilon-1: Mission acomplished. All the personel in our area are returning to their normal behavior.
Epsilon-4: Same here. All under control.
Epsilon-1: Okay. Contact the site manager, this will need an huge cleanup.
[END LOG]
Mission results: Site 66 is effectively under control. The incident caused 12 casualties and minor damage to the Site equipment. SCP-XXXX's containment procedures will be revised and rewriten under the period of a month. Until then, no contact with the anomaly is allowed to any personel.
