Mod Pack Attribution Message
Howdy hey!
My name is Karablue, and I am a staff member at the SCP Foundation Wiki. As part of the Wiki's Licensing team, I am writing to you today concerning your mod pack related to the SCP Wiki found here: [PLACE HOLDER]. This is perfectly alright, and we are not going to ask for your mod pack to be taken down. However, we do ask that your mod pack be brought into compliance with the Wiki's Creative Commons license.
Except where otherwise noted, all material on the SCP Foundation Wiki is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license. In short, this means that 1) all derived work must attribute the original author and, if possible, provide a link to the original work 2) the derived work must be released under the same Creative Commons license. A more thorough explanation can be found here: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/. This means you are legally free to use them, but your use of them must also abide by the terms of the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license.
Specifically, somewhere on your description page, you need to include a link to the SCP Foundation Wiki (http://scpwiki.com/) and a link to that license, along with an explanation that the SCP Foundation and all associated concepts abide by that license. Additionally, any derivative concepts that you produce based on those concepts must also be licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0, and you must include that notice in your description as well. This is so that individuals can both track down where your ideas came from and know that they can use and create similar ideas under those conditions.
So, basically, attribute the mod pack/mod creator following the instructions above, and we will be all good. The following is an example:
