Special Containment Procedures: NO BODIES SHALL ENTER THE CONTAINMENT FIELD. This includes other SCPs, especially SCP-096, "Shy Guy", as it is believed that the Spirit will take the deadliness of 096 and become unstoppable. Other SCPs are also to stay away as they might be taken by the spirit. When feeding the current body, slip the meal through the slip before quickly resealing it. This is to make sure the Spirit cannot possibly escape. If the Spirit is to escape, quickly equip the Spirit Suit and place the body back inside the containment field before sealing all connection to outside of the containment field. If your body is taken, you will notice, and you should attempt to knock yourself unconscious or inflict pain upon yourself. This will cause the Spirit to leave your body, and give you enough time to equip a Spirit Suit.

Description: This creature is known as the Spirit, and has no true body. It infects the bodies of other organisms, leaving them conscious but with the Spirit in near full control of it's body. It is said that after an hour of being infected, or being taken over by the Spirit, the soul of the infected creature itself dies, leaving the Spirit in full control of the body until it decides to leave. This creature is highly dangerous, but the Foundation is doing it's best to destroy it and has destroyed it's containment field once twice three times.
